Update for Isabelle

So, seeing that I have not seen the forum blowing up about this update it didn’t drop today. Either way, most are probably disappointed and now Illfonic is in a precarious situation of they better deliver a massive update or lose what little player base have left. Certainly if they make us wait till the end of February considering that would give them 3 months in total to deliver.

What I am expecting still is them to drop nothing more than Isabelle, her sniper rifle, free rocket launcher, three masks if we are lucky, and a few shaders. Total let down in all honesty.

What they’d better deliver if they want this game to keep going is Isabelle, sniper, free rocket launcher, three masks, shaders, least 1 of the 2 new maps they’ve been working on for months, new mode, new weapons and perks. Would be great to have a level cap increase and new Predator, but whatever.

So, time to make or break Illfonic. You’ve had the time now actually provide content and something worth playing.

I know it’s coming on the 26th 😎

I might wait to buy the dlc if it’s only Isabelle

I might even delete the game if there isn’t a new map or at the very least a new Predator

Hardly an ultimatum, it’s a reality check because most of the people who play this game are done with the bullshit between lack of content, glitches and bugs some being game breaking, que times being outrageous, lack of communication, etc.

Obviously, haven’t been around long enough, but some people who have been here since day 1 have been stuck at 150 for almost a year with no reason to play. Content has been highly lacking. They go on breaks constantly for weeks at a time. Hell, the majority of the community does more in the way of testing and finding bugs than Illfonic has done per update.

They never tell anyone what is going on and when the bugs channel is full of concerns and problems such as the under the map glitch nothing gets even looked into about it. The bow bug was around for months before they finally decided to do something about it. Which either means,

A. They can’t program correctly at all and don’t need to be in this industry

or

B. They have so many glitches and bugs in their programming they are finally catching up and still have 100’s more. Which in that case is outrageous and again they need to find a new line of work.

Yeah, I’ve only played PHG 3 times in there 3 months, and all of those were because friends were on and we played together.

Been playing a lot of SWBF2 and Jedi Fallen Order as of late, having a much smoother, glitch free, and balanced experience than PHG.

The update will be somewhat make or break for me as well, as I hope to return to PHG once the update is released. I’m max level, I have everything I want in game, it just isn’t enjoyable that much anymore unless I’m playing with friends.
If it is what I am expecting (Isabel, New Sniper, maybe 1 more gun, Free Rocket Launcher, FT Buffs, and Pred Nerfs), I will likely continue not playing unless some friends are on. If Illfonic is able to pull a decent update after 3 months of nothing but development time, then I might actually play this game more regularly.

That’s honestly how I feel at this point along with a lot of other people that’ve been here day 1, max level, or been here longer than 5 months. Better games to play with way less bullshit

Dude, I was telling all of this more than a half year ago when I fisrt saw their politics of update and communication. And everybody was just laughing that I and few other guys are just haters and this game is beautiful. And what now? Now it’s almost dead product.

In such game like this, or for example Evolve, it’s very important to support the game with regular updates and content drops. Why Dead by daylight is still alive and more or less popular? Because it’s full of different content, it’s polished and developers at least trying to communicate with community.
PHG could be the same but I still cannot understand how Sony gave this game to such incompetent developers…

And even IF they release a new gamemode with 2 predators bs 8 FT, what’s the point? Game will be still buggy and full of glitches, most part of community base have left the game. The stupidness of illfonic has killed their own game. One of the worst companies I’ve seen. Even Hello games, which released failed No Man’s sky isbetter because they fixed their own product and make it really playable and enjoyable

In my humble opinion, if illfonic actually communicated more, the game would have a much larger playerbase retention, and in turn the game would live longer.
