Dear illfonic, where’s the update news at? I thought y’all said you’d release more news come closer to the update on the 26th? We wanna see some new gameplay and maps! Very excited for new game modes, maps and weapons! The games bad ass and very fun to play. Adding more maps game modes and weapons would be awesome. Also i think adding aliens would be great. I know the game is based off of the jungle hunter but expanding it to maybe the other movies such as concrete jungle, or adding the aliens involved with the humans discovering the pyramids, etc. It would add so much more volume and popularity within the game! Also having “exclusive” skins/armor in an item shop that can be bought would make players feel more prestigious as the skins in the shop are rare. Maybe making the rogue predator? Tonnns of ideas hopefully y’all listen to some of our feedback we would all appreciate it!

This game universe has A LOT of potential, if only a good company would take the quality time to invest in perfecting it. The gameplay is like a demo in my opinion. Hopefully this update brings more excitement because it’s been pretty boring once you reach lvl 100. Especially earning XP it’s just a waste at that point. They should either make prestige’s with exclusive items or skins or just convert XP into vertinanium. The game needs an update badly

Well, they keep coming back to our planet and taking regular ass whippings. Clearly, they respect us as worthy adversaries.
And the whole game is centred around a specific backstory featured in the prequel novel, OWLF tapes and will be focused around those events. Xenomorphs don’t even come into the equation.
Humans are too easy to kill. as the Predators already know that some of them are worthy Warriors but let’s face it Dutch only killed him because he allowed him he was on that planet for years he was bored and I’m not just saying this because IGN said it. research it. And it’s a movie I’ll say it once I’ll say it twice just like Batman these characters are designed to win no matter what the circumstance is. Exactly why Superman will never beat Batman Batman is designed to win. But you can relate the predator and Batman if if batman is beat he will come back and win the second time. In that universe humans are not on the Predators level intellectual by no means humans are not Superior to something like that. Humans aren’t even Superior to certain animals and how are they now and I hate how they make these movies but people have to be entertained somehow lol

The game is about elite special forces being sent into the shit to deal with some fuckery, along comes a Predator who is attracted to conflicts, and the battle commences.
We are talking about a GAME. A game that is exclusively centred around a specific narrative. Someone wanted Aliens to be added, most of us said no. We are saying that we don’t want another AvP game, that’s been done to death. Let’s keep to the narrative with this game and keep this Predator Vs humans (with a little help from Dutch, which is what the first 20 tapes have been revealing with the new tapes continuing that story).
Okay yes I understand the whole no aliens in the game but my bad I took one of your comments the wrong way I guess I looked at it differently. Lol in the one that you said that beat the Predator Harrigan. That Predator was most likely a young but most of these movies that we have r young Bloods newly blooded we have no movie that shows a legitimate Elite Predator killer that’s unstoppable and the only one we had was wolf from Predator requiem movies will never be like the comics
But I wish like the more we kill in the game like the more are features grow on the face like I wish you had a stage where you can get to Elder that would be pretty cool at the Elder predators look so bad
Okay, I see where this is getting mixed. But you have to understand, regardless of whatever happens outside of the movies in comics/books, the movies will always be the main point of reference for the majority of people coming to this game. The movies came first, the game references the events of the first two movies in the OWLF tapes and the narrative backstory is set during those times. Who knows what next month’s DLC/update will include, truthfully I do hope they add something exclusively for Pred mains seeing as this month’s DLC&update is clearly in favour towards Fireteam players.
As for anything beyond the movies, especially xenomorphs, that’s not happening anytime soon. The roadmap for the current narrative takes us all the way to September. After that, it’s anyone’s guess.

I would not say that Harrigan beat its ass. It got cocky and left itself wide open.
But you make a point with the Batman theory: the story is designed so the “hero” will win, no matter it being a feeble human compared to Predator, or Batman vs. Supeman. The stories are designed to make readers/watchers believe that the human would have a chance, no matter how unlikely it would be. We love stories about our human capabilities being way beyond our limits.

That’s someone writing their own opinion in a PC Gamer article, that doesn’t make it canon. Maybe if the person who actually wrote the movie script said that in an interview, I would believe it. Bored? Not likely. This is more plausible (and equally credible to a game journalists interpretation); He held Dutch up, looked closely at his face turning his head from side to side. Upon realising the human had no technological augmentations, he dropped Dutch to the ground and paced for a while to contemplate how to finish this. He could easily end the humans life with his blades…but this primitive creature had managed, somehow, to find a way to gain an advantage…if only for a short period. The human deserved to at least see the face of his killer, to look into the eyes of the one who had bested him on combat. Slowly, he began to remove his mask. A noble death is what this human deserves, it suddenly occured to the Predator clenching it’s huge fists… and before this turns into a whole chapter, Blah blah, Predator bitch slaps Dutch about for a while, toys with Dutch and becomes arrogant, Dutch tries luring him into the spike traps, Predator sees it though, gets more cocky and walks around it, Dutch drops the deadweight trap on it. Game over for Predator so it self destructs…and that’s when the narrative for this game begins to happen. And in the OWLF tapes…

Predators are coming to Earth frequently…and getting killed by the squads led by Dutch. They’ve even secured some of the weapons, and using the wealth of stuff they recover theyhave created a serum which has amazing healing properties. Dutch gets a beating from the first ever female Predator seen, ends up in hospital nearly dead. Using the serum he heals in a few months, a fraction of the estimated recovery time using our current best healthcare… I’ll leave it there incase people haven’t unlocked all 20 tapes.
