Well that is all predators can do now XD also what perks are used? I’m guessing the perk that reduces overcharge doesn’t look like dithered lens

Yep. Plasma Caster is the best ranged weapon overall. The damage is great and the splash is pretty good.
The other weapons can be useful in niche circumstances but the Caster and the Combi are Pred’s only really reliable options for putting down FT’s.
Well with the parry system can only throw the combi now

I use the Scout
Impenetrable because of his low health
Down Range because I’m a Plasma Caster one trick
Third I switch between Light Bender, Dithered Lens and and Cooling Syncs since the whole build is built around surprise shots from roof tops

Well can ya blame me? XD I do like to get in close and engage from afar but of course for now melee weapons are useless for the preds so what’s the point in having em ya know?
I’ve started trying to not engage in melee unless it’s down to 2 FT members purely cos of the parry. It’s working out super well for me and the tactic of using the wristblade for one attack, then quickly plasma casting, then wristblade, then caster repeat seems to work quite well against people who expect me to just swing, haha.

I’ll try this. Ive been trying been trying to figure out how to use the handheld plasma caster but I’ve just been embarrassing myself every time I try. I’ll put this technique to use.

I was actually referring to using the shoulder mounted pladma caster for the tactic, haha. Just gonna go check if you can actually do something similar with the handheld

Yeaaaahhh the handheld does not do nearly as much damage trust me https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=2BlJlFvtZRE tested the handheld here though it did help me take a guy down with stealth and explosive barrel and helped weaken another

Yeah, guess that’s the cost with it not costing any energy. Would like to see some actual numbers tho on damage for everything.
Also, just tested it and the handheld works just as well as the shoulder mounted for the hit, blast, hit, blast tactic. Should hopefully tear down some parriers, haha.

Great. But what is the coolness of such a hunt? I don’t want to just kill the squad. I want to hunt them. If I want to kill 4 people, I’ll take a berserker, take a spear and drool on the keyboard, cut out the whole continent.
