A lot of people are pretty upset about the plasma cannon being nerfed but I haven’t heard much talk about how much more viable the bow is now that its projectile speed has been increased. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve crouched down cloaked at a spot with good visibility of the fireteam and just downed them one by one before they could realize where I even was. Granted I’m on PC so I’m sure it’s easier to lands hits than PS4.
Used properly, predator bow is insanely good.

Tried it a few times, meh…its a close quarter weapon tbh. The falloff at a distance is too great to make a hit, so its best used, like you say, cloaked in the middle of the fireteam and hope they dont spot the red light it gives off.
Had a couple matches earlier using the pistol cloaked and shooting them SEVERAL times before they realized i was sitting on a box next to them, too bad you need like 6+ hits with that thing to even down someone.
PC is the only weapon i truly enjoyed, if the extend the range of the bow and make it more like a sniper, id use it. Right now it just seems to bother them, even headshots.
He was talking about the Bow not the Pistol. The Bow is good, the Pistol is unnecessary and should be replaced with something else IMO.

Yeah I’m not sure why your bow is nerfed. I’ve headshot the FT a few times and instantly down them. I love the bow. I run bow and combi stick so I’ve got range and close combat. The bow is a lot of fun imo.

I needed a lot of lost matches with the bow to get used to it (am on PS4), but now i absolutly love it. So great when theres some cheesy knifers trying to run you down and you just shoot in their heads from close up. They lie down so fast.

The bow is a pretty good weapon for Preds who wanna terrorize and stalk the good ole PC is for when you wanna say “fuck stealth”.

Not if its me, my eyes or the visuals blending but Im not a fan of the circle red reticle once its charged it blinks and fucks with my aim sometimes.
Kinda wish it was the overall widespread triangle that tightens up close to the red dot.
I have never downed anyone with a ranged weapon in this game. Currently lvl 59.
Predator ranged attacks are so easy to counter due to low projectile speed or lack of damage that I sort of gave up on them.
The bow is godlike. Literally so good. It’s my go to weap.
Sometimes a little niggly to aim with the poor game optimisation making my reticle feel floaty af…but if they are standing still - hit that head and it’s bye bye.
Saw some gameplay vids of it and you don’t really have to charge it to get the same distance. Helped a lot to be able to get quick shots instead of having to assume I need to hold for atleast 2-3 seconds and the FT so happen to just be out of LoS by then

Bow/Scout main here - Bow is INSANELY good from mid AND LONG range. I have plenty of videos playing vs lvl 100 FT’s on PC and they go down like flies if you know how to play / shoot.
In the “middle” of a Fireteam - what are you talking about? This is no berserker’s combistick.
As for “red light” - it doesn’t give you away - it’s not there anymore after the patch. They can’t spot your red light because it’s gone.
It’s clear you haven’t been using bow a lot.
