Valkyrie's lack of bullet resistance

So, I noticed that our good Valkyrie girl is currently the only Pred without natural Bullet resistance or increased mêlée damage.

All other Pred classes either have the bullet resistance or additional mêlée damage, such as those:
Source: https://www.predatorhuntinggrounds.com/

Hunter

  • Receives 93.3% damage from bullet based weapons, except shotguns.

Scout

  • Receives 91.0% damage from bullet based weapons, except shotguns.
  • Deals 5.0% less Melee Damage.

Berserker

  • Deals 10.0% more Melee Damage.

Alpha

  • Receives 93.3% damage from bullet based weapons, except shotguns.
  • Deals 6.0% more Melee Damage.

Elder

  • Receives 93.3% damage from bullet based weapons, except shotguns.
  • Deals 5.0% less Melee Damage.

City Hunter

  • Receives 93.3% damage from bullet based weapons, except shotguns.

Samurai

  • Receives 85.0% damage from melee weapons.
  • Deals 6.0% more Melee Damage.

Viking

  • Deals 13.0% more Melee Damage.

Valkyrie

  • Currently nothing.

So, what would you think what percentage she should have as bullet resistance or additional mêlée damage?

Most of the Pred have a 6.7 % resistance except Scout who has 9 %.
I think Valkyrie should get something in middle because she can be seen as a Hunter+Scout or Alpha+Scout Hybrid. Probably 7.2 % would be fine for her.

But I’m interested what you all think and please give some honest opinions without tearing me apart for mentioning it. 🥰
@OldKingHamlet @Courier she would deserve it as so many really love her.

Don’t give her shit. She’s already extremely hard to kill when using ghost and jumping in and out of conflict for easy melee kills. You give her anymore resistance than she’s already capable of, then all you’re going to have running around are Valkyrie Ghosts, Samurai Ghosts with the axe and Elder Stalkers with the disc.

I posted a video in the “post your videos here” thread you should have a look at. Ghost is actually relatively easy to negate if you think it through and use the right tools the FT has.

If she keeps jumping in and out, going from trees to structures to ground, even with headphones and how fast some players are with her, she still downs you all eventually. The katana bleed and the extra ghost damage are a slow knife in the rib cage.

Oh I know, I love and utilize the technique often. I’m saying though, 4 randoms literally negated that tactic very effectively. PDLs and good ACIG throws make Ghost useless

Would love that too.
But I don’t think they will revert the nerf they did to her.
Rather we can expect her to get bullet resistance and maybe a bit more mêlée damage.

Not everybody is using ghost.
I saw many Fervent Valkyrie’s and I personally prefer Savage.
But she needs a little more bullet resistance in my opinion and she would deserve it.

So you’d prefer her to have 1500 health with Scout stamina and movement speed. If you put Impen on her, she was harder to second wind than Viking with Impen. That’s wrong, very wrong. Do you know how many awful predators took advantage of that and exclaimed they’re top 10%? Too many. It was annoying and unfun, made fighting her boring and unrewarding. Oh shit, she’s claiming, plug her! lays a full magazine on her and a little M1911 fire and hardly damages her
She would get away with the dumbest shit. That encouraged idiots to be idiots and then strut around like the cream of the crop when they wouldn’t be able to play Scout with their health pool if their life depended on it. This whole reliance on massive health pools needs to stop, it’s not hard to master the movement system in this game, and I know for a fact you’re a fuckin’ dangerous huntress that knows the ins and outs. You do not need a large health pool, you’re already taking spines like second nature.

I mean absolutely no disrespect to you, Aihrui

Thank you so much.
Though I sometimes have problems with some team and sometimes I don’t. Though right now if often have the feeling I only get queued to good teams when I want to be Pred and only get Potatoes when Fireteam.
Maybe it’s also the notebooks performance. Currently saving up for an actual gaming pc.

Also @SomeknowmeasXeno made a good point in buffing the health of both parties instead of needing the damage.

I mean she is still pretty broken! Idk if she could use a buff or a nerf but she definitely needs a polish up!!

Maybe give her a quicker stamina regen or energy

I mean giving her 6.7 bullet resistance would probably not hurt her.
But we never know what IllFonic is gonna have in mind for the next update in regards of buffs and nerfs.

Why would we increase the health of already tanky parties? It’s boring af to damage your opponent relentlessly to no effect. I think health and damage should be left as is but remove damage resist, increase, and health bonus perks. Stop all that 200 health and 1500+ health bullshit. And stop the insane damage the FT can do in seconds

She really doesn’t need it! She is quick enough to play her the way she is intended to! Which is quick hit and run attack

But what can be done instead is the question?
There needs to be something done. Either they give both parties a buff or a nerf. Which nerfing is meant to be the only last option according to SomeknowmeasXeno. Normally there should be a different way for balance.
Either rework the damage of FT and removing the Passive and active damage resist, increase and bonus perks as you say. Or there needs something to be buffed.

We need @Tony-Pope to bring this to the people’s attention!

Ok, buffing health may sound good on paper, but in practicality, you’d just be smacking each other to no avail until the timer runs out. Like facing a fuckin’ Field Medic team. They. Do. Not. Drop.

Probably.
Game balancing seems to be quite difficult.

I think Valk is fine as it is.
