I like the way it is

If you want VT you have to play FT

If you want XP play Pred

They need to implement a trophy system where after you make so many claims you unlock cosmetics like human skulls to adorn your Pred with

Pred should get the Veritanium the FT has collected upon being claimed

I believe I mention something like that in my post in Feedback
Claiming Skulls and Securing bodies should give us more VT

Pred used to have a whole animation for picking up VT and they deliberatly removed pred gathering VT. Intentional and I doubt pred is getting any source of VT back.
