[Version 2.29] - [PS4 - probably all platforms] - [All Predator Models/classes and config.] - Cloak glitch while scrolling trough the weapon wheel and switching between visions.

This bug occurred on Playstation 4 for me but can be present on all platforms.

While cloaked, and going trough heat vision mode and normal mode as you do it, scrolling with the weapons toggle trough the weapons generates a cloak related issue, rendering the character/hunter visible.

Once you start using the weapons toggle, especially ones you can equip while on the ground and in the trees, (example, Spear and Disk can be equipped while in trees and ground level, for ground level I used as example, the katana and spear on the Samurai Hunter/Predator) even if cloaked, parts of the Hunter character model start to be seen/visible.

This is important and urgent as it might become visible for other players in the online session rendering cloak not working as intended.

Update:

Apparently the fireteam has some sort of glitch that removes the mud camo from the character model, while swapping trough different equipment & weapons.

Thanks for letting us know about this, we weren’t aware of it yet. Do you know if this is happening with any specific weapons or equipment, or does it seem to happen with all items?

Apparently it happens with most of the equipment. So far I used the Vector and Plasma Rifle Prototype on Dutch(2025) and Vector plus Isabelle’s original sniper(NRV-E) on Isabelle, in the loadouts.

My hunch is that is for every item and weapon within loadouts that is not mudded and affected by the scripted animation and shading effect of the character model after mudding up. (and it happens as the character shader model changes from its initial state)

Must be something related to the mudding/cloaking shaders/decals as soon as you are mudded/cloaked and you pop up an unmudded/uncloaked item the animation and scripting goes bananas (yeh, I know is not professional my expression, but I am not at work here, so…), making some parts of the character appear as it shouldn’t.

I know U. Engine can be a pain in the a** to work with, depending on the version and how altered/modified/messed with it is.

PS: DON’T KNOW if is related to the NVGs, as it is with the Predator heat vision, but you guys might want to check that out.

PPS: I seen it happen to other character models of players during the game sessions when they probably mudded themselves up and probably swapped weapons after that.
