(VIDEO) Field of view glitch on console!!! (Happened to me on 3 different games in 1 day)

The FOV is zoomed in right when you spawn in bothers me so much that I leave the game every single time leaving my poor teammates with the bot. This was on PS5 but I play on both xbox and ps5 and honestly it happens more often on xbox series x to my knowledge

@Doom is the team aware of this bug??? It’s happening to me more often now and it’s really hard to play like this…

I wonder if it is an issue with certain weapon sights. Do you get it with all weapons and sights? I haven’t had this happen yet, but I tend to stick with iron sights or scopes.

Not sure… I have pretty much been mainly using the aug or grow i think it’s called because I don’t have the hammerhead unlocked yet but yeah it definitely happens with the aug with the red dot sight equipped(not every game but very often and sometimes if I don’t close out the game and re open it it will be like that every single game afterwards)

Happens with multiple different guns equipped as well using the red dot sight and holographic sights. Also mercenary 87 equipped which has no optic options so I don’t think it’s sight specific. Also Leaving the game mid match after deploying in and checking to see what predator is being used and leaving right after to might be a possibility but im pretty much 99% sure that has nothing to do with it but I want to note that because I leave mid match pretty often if the pred is a hunter fervent so it’s worth noting.

I’ve not had this occur with any guns or sights, yet. Have you tried uninstalling the game, deleting the local save file, restarting your device, then reinstalling?
