Viewing angle when trapped

Once trapped you have a 180 degrees viewing and engagement angle, now i am not asking for 360 degrees however anything better than one 180.

Where you live at I have a bear trap and would love to see you rotate 360 degrees with your ankle stuck. May I film it for research

Fair point though ;-)

I want to see the horror on his face when he twist and the ankle doesn’t move and peels his ankle like a potato

Maybe you should avoid getting trapped and you can turn 360°.

I actaully agree. Its annoying not being able to do anything while getting hit in the back.

Theres 3 arguements to this.

A. Realism (as already seen) parries literally break physics. I don’t think realism is a big problem.

B. Don’t get trapped. A good point but I would argue that the experience would be better if 360 degrees was allowed so that the trap was less annoying and feels less cheap for FT; in order to compensate you could just buff it. I’m not in favor of a down right nerf here.

C. That would ruin melee on bear traps. I would argue melee should be viable regardless of bear traps.

At first I thought you were going in the opposite direction but you did a good job

So you just not gonna respond?

I feel it would add more realism if you could see further than 180 considering you are facing directly left or right and it should be close to 180 degrees from that direction.

You should have no issues getting close to 360 degrees in a bear trap, bear traps are not bolted into the ground AND they are not that heavy, it will hurt but you should not be sprinting after you’re out of a bear trap (like in the game) anyway. Right now you can’t even turn around when trapped.

Test this, its very easy. Get up from your chair and turn around and not move a leg. You will see you can turn around completely. Lifting a bear trap is easy. The issue with them is that it fucks up your leg but considering you sprint after you exist, the preds can’t be that powerful and they don’t maim. So going by this turning 360 degrees is easy as pie.

Finally, adrenaline can overcome pain and has in many instances. More so when a predator is about to spear you from end to end, you WILL turn around even IF you damage your leg more. More so highly trained people on Dutch level who know how to ignore pain.

Yes, and predators can just avoid the damage if they think guns are to powerful but instead they complain over and over and now with the latest changes its play premade or get frustrated out of your mind playing randoms in hunt. The mode is just abut dead for me.
