WE HAVE BEEN TRICKED!

I remember when video games were 60 bucks with full content not like app games that you had to buy season passes with less content! I dunno what I was thinking at the time but new generation gaming is just video game companies using our nostalgia of the franchise’s we played as kids and making us spend more money into their unfinished games and saying it’s going to be released later dates 🙄 and I haven’t mentioned you have to buy a gaming subscription to play multiplayer and have internet to play games, even old games with internet! I’m done!…unless the season pass in Halo Infinite is free for lone Wolf, but we will see hmph 😑

u are a cow.

You are a sheep

Couldn’t have said it better. The good old days where e everything was in the game and it was up to you to find it or unlock it. Sadly those days are gone especially after corporations saw how much gaming companies were making and thought hmm how can we get in there and rob these loyal patrons and ruin the gaming developers reputatuons all in one move

When they had the ability to drop updates for games, thats when this all started . Before that a game had to be polished and finished , I still remember if a game had a bug on ps1 ps2? You had to live with it 😁.

But they got lazy and started the drip feed game plan , sadly , it is what it is.

It is not a trick, but a common practice in software/product development, called MVP = Minimum viable Product.
You release a product which offers just the basic features and develop it further when/while it generates money.
Illfonic just perfectly demonstrates the risks and downsides of using this method when you’re a small inexperienced Studio.
