Predator Invisibility is useless and we can see it after 2 kilometers(as an example)
Good FT will spam spot button and they can set graphics on “Low” and they see you through all map. I think we need to improve its invisibility

You are right, what wee need is to remove marking ability from FT, that way predators standing still will have a chance to remain unnoticed, in compare to now being spam spotted all the time
it’s fine as it is, spotting is also fine. Good predators don’t worry about spotting.
The problem is not in the spot mechanics, but in invisibility. It is simply useless against a well formed squad and you need jump around them like monkey and shooting them, or uses buffed weapons like sword
Honestly the cloak wouldnt be so bad if the predator wasnt so damn loud giving away his position with clicking constantly when cloaked. you are better off coloring your pred brown/green if u wanna sit in the trees and just not use cloak.

Someone did a test and other than smoke grenades not working with low effects, low shadows doesnt actually make pred non invis.

Fog probably does fuck with pred cloak at range. but is necessary for performance I think. No shadows would look horrible. It looks so bad that I would rather sacrifice 10 fps on my potato than play without shadows.
Its the sheer distance and clarity at which you can see across the map and its why people are getting sniped 3000m away jumping through trees with hardly any leaves as a textured grey blob in an untextured jungle. You will never ever lose sight of that moving grey blob because there are no small trees/foliage blocking line of sight either. Basically just tree trunks and small shrubs left on the map + no shadows or fog. People tend to not care about the game looking washed out and bad if it helps them snipe :/

I dont disagree though, its really hard to break LOS as pred if you are using trees at all.
Trees are already bad but I mean it gives you a clear view where the pred is leaping because the treeline is empty sans tree trunk branches. They could atleast lower the render distance so you can’t stand on a hill and see through the treeline at the compound across the map.
Yeah I play on low view distance and can still see pred across the map.
