And everyone is hyping up City Hunter like it’s going to make P:HG Game of the Year. Of course I’m happy City Hunter is being added but with the game in its current state it’s going to miserable. The queue times have not been addressed. You think the Samurai was a long wait? Stand the fuck by… you’ll be able to queue and go get groceries before your match starts. The issues in the game are still there. You’re going to jump into a match after a long wait and then get hit with auto long claims and who knows what that hasn’t been fixed. On top of that we’re paying them MORE money. Not that the price is the issue, it’s the principle. By adding MORE cosmetics and not fixing the dupe OR mythic drop rates they’ve introduced MORE frustration. You think mythics were rare before… buckle up. You’re in for a ton of grinding now. I hope you’ve got weeks or months to dedicate to this game because between dupes, queue times, crashes, and glitches you’re in for a BAD fuckin’ time.
We’re IGNORED by @Courier on a regular basis on EVERY platform. The forums, Reddit, Twitter, and Facebook. People keep tagging him/her and they never respond. I would laugh if I wasn’t so frustrated with the situation. I love this game and am DESPERATE to see it succeed and leave behind an awesome legacy and see a sequel one day.
Enough with the “patience” and “Illfonic is working on content”. Someone needs to address the community. As I stated in another thread there’s a difference between being an optimist and being an apologist. At this point if you justify Illfonic and Courier (if they’re even still employed) you’re an apologist and being FUCKED by Illfonic as a consumer. Enough with the memeing on Twitter and Facebook. Talk to us! This game survives by word of mouth and the community.
If you think for a second at this point that Illfonic cares you’re dead wrong. And if you respond with some “The real fans will keep playing” or “take a break and come back” nonsense then fuck you. I’m not wanting content now. I’m wanting some transparency and communication. Assurance that the game will get better and that the developers give a shit about the franchise, the product, and US (the people that pay their salaries).Check my history. You’ll see I’ve been posting positive feedback to Illfonic since the trial weekend. I’ve gotten into debates/arguments with people in defense of the game and Illfonic but with this last “Announcement”… they’re 100% fucking ALL of us.
If you’ve read this far I appreciate you taking the time to read this. I’ve been a pretty outspoken person in support of this game but I’m extremely frustrated by this situation. Shout out to @BadRed7 @richterbryan @Procyon9511 @splifftor for vocally calling out Illfonic in the past and currently (albeit more aggressively than needed and fuck Splifftor for what he did to/accused @Finessology). I love this game and this community. The forums is an endless supply of fun engagement and discussion but I feel more like P:HG has become more fun to talk about on here with you guys than actually playing… FUCK!
