Here is the CLOSEST thing I’ve ever been to getting the Jungle Hunter 87 mask, not really disappointed but sad it was just a shader “So close but yet still so far” it was a surprise to be that a few doing like 100+ headshots on AI’s in a private match this unlocked in the field lockers
The drop on the mask is so low that most people who play this game likely won’t get it. But “hur, dur, it’s da junga hunta mask at leeest.”
Yeah, on a completely dogshit inaccurate Hunter body. No one cares. Everyone wants the Jungle Hunter, because he is the literal face of the franchise. It’s also a money maker. But illfonic is too stupid to understand basic economics.
The only body or skin that is very close to the Jungle Hunter is the Elder Predator “Unlocks at level 150” that’s pretty fair. At least user’s can unlock that first if you don’t already have it, just a matter of time leveling up for me as my current level is 89 only 61 levels to go
As for dropping the bomb on user’s who doesn’t have the Jungle Hunter 87 mask, just because I unlocked a SHADER doesn’t mean that I have unlocked the mask itself… YET!! It would be super funny if I did unlock it today after leveling up and buying a few field lockers
It’s like a 1 in 1000 chance to unlock it using the field lockers “Don’t give up hope” you still have the City Hunter DLC “Predator 2 is still a good movie” but I do hear ya mate, it would have been great if the Jungle Hunter 87 was a DLC this way everyone would have it by now
As for your claim for Illfonic being stupid, I don’t think they are! It all depends on licencing and permissions to be able to get things into the game for distribution. Such as characters, music, themes and so much more it’s not an easy process believe me. This would include fees Illfonic needs to pay for licencing as none of their products are freeware related
I do freeware 3d modelling and yes, this means that I do undergo the legal requirements of getting permissions to use things like logos, brand naming and so much more it’s a bit of a complicated world we live in but I’d rather get permissions before I distribute my models at any time this voids any copyright infringements and NOBODY wants to go to jail or being sued over copyright
A lot of people like yourself just doesn’t understand those things authors need to go through for getting permissions especially if permissions in needed to sell your product a fee is always involved for using anything in payware projects
The way illfonic has handled this entire game makes them extremely idiotic—and no one will ever convince me otherwise.
