We were entirely wrong about Console Players

'murica, hahaha

Xbox still has the lower end of the console market share, with Nintendo dominating and Sony in 2nd place.

Seems to me Sony’s market share is also higher in most other countries than it is on USA. Since launch I rarely enter a match here where there isn’t an Xbox player

They play much better than Steam players as well. Even when the game was launched on steam, I didn’t see players be that akin to what to do, and most of the time were clueless and needed to be explained what to do.

They are also, somehow, quite less toxic than Playstation and PC players

The last thing, as already mentioned, Xbox has always been THE FPS console, ever since Halo and Xbox live launched back in the day. Their roster of games is more online multiplayer oriented too.

And finally, the controller is just better for FPS games. The asymmetric design is optimized for it.

PS5 player here. Actually I’m a Schneider CPC 464 player then Commodore 64 player, then Sega Megadrive player, in between PC player, then PS player, PS2 player, Xbox player, Xbox 360 player then PS4 player with occasional PC spells and now PS5 player.

According to the demographic analysis in this thread my skill constantly varied between PC master race and PS adventure noob. Yup, makes total sense.

Oh, I forgot to say that Mexicans smell from tacos, all Americans are fat and due to being Austrian I have real difficulties with English. Sorry guys, but don’t look prejudices always a bit silly when you take a closer look?

You are 100% right, I was surprised myself, ps players compared to newcomers on xbox are just brainless potatoes, even though they have been playing this game for a long time )

I also noticed that I beat PS games easily and Xbox players are harder because it is a new game for us Xbox players and we enjoy it to the fullest and even more if we are HC fans

I met a PC player who was a potato in one game and when I met him in another game he was an absolute demon…one game you’re a potato, the next game you’re a master…

No. Is because (from my experience) most PS players are children who don’t know shit about how to play a first person shooter

Probably in the first encounter wasn’t paying attention, you got him by surprise when he was busy doing something else, or you just jumped right on him and no one else helped.

Happens to me all the time. I get jumped right away and die because with 3 potatoes you can only do so much in a 1v1 situation. And with the infamous “can’t parry, can’t fire” bug here again, well… You may be a “potato” one match and then really good the next one

That’s how it be, sometimes same player will be messing around, have bad luck, maybe by themself, bad match conditions, or have genuine mishap

Kind of just have to get used to that, it’s not if you get fucked over it’s when you get fucked over in this game

I dont understand you 🤣 it’s just a game😎✌️once you win once you lose, it means absolutely nothing

What

Nothing…we somehow didn’t understand each other

I noticed

not really

Many people here rarely lose matches. This game is not that difficult, but winning/losing does not translate to being good/bad at the game. How many potatoes win matches because someone like me, @BeerWarrior66, @Samhain13, @Derangedxeno_02, carried them for the whole match? How many of us also, lose, because some bug, disconnect, or simply weren’t paying attention?

if your win/lose ratio is 50/50, I have some sad news for you boy…

agreed. PC players can individually sway the win rate when you or another team member decides to not giving a fuck for a whole 5 seconds durring moments of intensity with a full PC fireteam and you can throw their entire game off. Some might say this was intentional. The majority of PS players are often running for their lives because reaction times indicate they cannot cooordinate fast enough to save each other. PC players often have a choice and they usually choose not to back down.
