We were entirely wrong about Console Players

Yeah…
You all know how we PC people always argued, that console players would simply be inferior to PC players because of the Mouse&Keyboard, distance to the screen, not using Headphones, et cetera…
But the recent update has proven all of us wrong.
These XBOX players rock! They know how to play!
And I love it! Most matches against XBOX players have been fun!
Similar to when Steam got introduced.
Don’t get me wrong, there are a few good PS5 Players here, but there is a clear difference in the skill of the majority of PS5 and XBOX players.

But why is that so?
Are PS Players generally just bad at playing games?
Does the Xbox make you a better player than a Playstation can?
Or is it something entirely different?

@Varasagarasa.

And suck my dampy balls please.

I must admit since the intro of Xbox players been very surprised how early and quick they have picked up the game and seem to be a bit superior to ps5 players, but since the update my pc struggles with the graphics now, and never got use to using keyboard and mouse use a controller.

far more casuals randomly jumping into the game from PS than from any other platform and i’m sure they can’t configure their controller any better than default which is a shame.

For some perspective, Ive played the Division 1 on PS on controller with ease. Therefore, if there isn’t a way to get around all the problemsome issues such as getting cancelled by tree trunks after a run, then people should be fine aiming and strafing their guns. I neverr played as pred on controller so i don’t know what the learning curve is there.

The big issue is all the newbies who don’t know the issues.

i beg to differ. every time i play with or against them they can’t even shoot the ai in the foot their aim is so bad, let alone shoot the predator. they just run away whenever a teammate gets attacked, not even bothering trying to help. even if they do, they’ll maybe land like 10 shots maximum.

potatoes potatoes everywhere, up to my neck and all in my hair

It is entirely because of the player-base Xbox Has

keep in mind back in the 360 gen Xbox was teh FPS/shooter console
PS3 was the adventure/RPG console in terms of what games were actually played

By this point since PlayStation blew out Xbox in terms of console sales people who still stayed on that ship were probably the hardcore fans who would never leave and therefore have probably played the various shooters (Halo Gears of War Etc…) So they would obviously have much better skill transfer when playing another shooter like PHG

As keep in mind i was an Xbox guy for a long time Until bloodborne i went to buying Sony consoles because they actually made games where Xbox decided they wanted to make… Nothing

Its the newbie mentally, far more casual potatoes than there are hard core.

HARD CORE!

Want a piece of the dampy balls?

Xbox Controller. Predator Aiming cannot be set on a different controller button. When I set the Aiming on (RB) and set the Leap on (LT) my Predator in the trees still both Aim and Leap at the same time. But Its happening only when Im in the trees. If Im anywhere else on the ground, Aiming and Leap is working fine.
Its a bug.
I should be able to set the Aim on whatever button I want. But Im not able to do that.
Once again, if I set the Aim on (RB) and Leap on (LT) my Predator in the trees always Leap and Aim at the same moment. Aiming function shouldnt be fighting with the Leap function.
In this case, everytime when I want to Leap from the tree, Predator is always involuntarily aiming during the leaping selection. Its very annoying and it constatnly reveals my position in the trees, and also shortly after I Leap from the tree, my Aim keeps getting stuck. Its a problem.
Due to this Im not able to set my own controls for the Predator, even if the game itself has this option.

the fuck is this man? put it in the bugs section! were talking about my dampy balls here with my beloved @Madisyn_Skye

Calm down man, there were mentioned Xbox players, experience and controllers. So I put it also there, I think that Xbox users should know about these issues.

no just…no. away. go!

Xbox has good player stock which is a pleasant surprise, I think they might leave over time though because I’m pretty certain that’s simply what happens as far as turn over rate is losing many potential good players both mechanical and capable of absorbing information goes, also not just with Xbox but all platforms upon their respective release

yeah but what’s this draw from? More hard core people who aren’t casuals? You’re saying that there is some kind of mental capacity that out weigh PS players. Not sure if that it is just will power in itself. Maybe pride? Literally I find a contrller to be just that …a contrller. nothing more than an a limitation of their own design.

unless the xbox society has better suppport on third part keyboard/mouse then I’m sure you have been disinformed!

This circle jerk is lame

Even by Microsoft Muppet standards

ahem… hail PC …superrace.

Aim assist in this game is more of a down side than a plus.
Nothing like COD os BF where aim assist actually gives some leverage.

I actually agree with the OP.
Long were the times when 99% of the matches ended up with FT hiding somewhere in the map, or wandering around gathering veritanium or 6yo kids screaming through the map. Since xbox players are here, i’ve never seen 1 make such things and actually do useful stuff like the basics doing mission and keeping close enough.
