This DLC demostated what’s needed to balance matchmaking times. More incentive to be FT.
If they add wolf for example next month. Then everyone will flock to Predator and wait times will shoot back up drastically.

but, im ok even with the masks from the pred characters and weapons, we dont need the pred itself, and if we get the pred characters in the future as DLC, the lobby will probably be ok.

well you could take my spot because wolf is not a part of the original Predator franchise, and to see him in this game would literally mean you would have to include the Alien franchise. you would then have to rework this whole game.

I’m certain they’re gonna alternate between something like Fireteam Skins/Maps and Modes/Predator Skins.
I’m sure they’ll make a City Hunter at one point. But judging by how well Dutch was done, the sky is the limit.

Alien is a part of the franchise whether people like it or not lol. Both Predator 2 and The Predator have items relating to the xenomorphs. Both Jungle and City hunter are blooded/marked with xenomorph blood as is the elder. They are integral to Predator lore.
Doesn’t mean they will appear here. Just stating they are and forever will be part of the same universe.
NECA Toys is releasing their 100th Predator figure, and it’s an original design by them. Must’ve promo’d the design as a dlc class for Hunting Grounds.

Look at it like this.
The novelty of “Arnie-mania”, and the ability to spam the voice emote “get to the chopper” as the man himself will wear off in a week. This isn’t the answer to FT player numbers, fireteam is nowhere near as fun as the predator and the problem will persist.
Considering that the predator is the star of the show, not showing it any love would mean lack of revenue for illfonic.
I think for every predator skin the free update will be another fireteam skin of a lesser known/new character.
My money is on a new map next though as FREE DLC.
As has been observed in almost every game since paid DLC began - You put a pay wall on new maps and you divide your player base and finding a game becomes difficult. Those who dont wanna pay more money leave the game and it makes no more money from micro-transactions and it dies.
The age of paid map packs is over, the age of cosmetic items is well and truly the “thing” right now so expect those shiny predator skins buddy.
