My scout uses the bow and handheld. While I do go in for wristblades far too often, I’ve never come across someone as good with parrying as I am, and I’m not great. This is one of the rare games where I feel that the humans are generally better when I’m playing with them than against them. (I can’t tell you how much DBD feels like I’m teamed up with brainless mice just being given the game, and somehow as killer, I get the chess bots.) But I know that as soon as I grab a melee weapon, I’m going to come across parrying masters, making my weapon slot wasted.
My Big Game Hunter loadout is a scout with the Saw and 2XL. Frags and thermal, pred damage, speed, stamina. I only use him if the pred killed everyone without exploding. Kind of a revenge mission. I don’t do the mission, I just follow the team and sit in a high point, waiting for the pred to show up.
