I’m curious to learn if weapon upgrades like optics and suppressors alter a weapon’s effectiveness.
We don’t see a stat change when applying a scope to denote it improved accuracy nor range in some way. Similarly, we don’t see damage output, effective range, nor loudness changes when equipping a suppressor in the stats menu of a weapon.
These upgrades should offer tangible benefits for unlocking them aside from sight-picture or a zoom, especially because sound signatures are so important in this game for the Predator can see muzzle reports as firearms are discharged.
Additionally, some of the weapon’s gunfire audio is weird. The ‘QR-4’ aka M4, for instance would be louder and offer an echo, as of right now it sounds like a suppressed SMG rather than an a Carbine or Assault Riffle.
