The matchmaking is utterly destroyed. I’ve waited nearly an hour for a Predator game. In that time I’ve been put into 2 lobbies. One with 2 FT which obviously didn’t work out. The other one, 30 minutes later, was an empty lobby. Congratulations Illfonic, every release fucks this game up even worse. Can’t play Predator in Predator game. Great work.

Keep resetting your game queue after 9 minutes, I guess there is a bug
Someone still dosent understand asymmetrical match making. Lets say you are 1 of 500 ppl trying to play Pred atm. So for there to be that many pred players you will need 2000 ft players. Also you would need those 2000 pred players to either be party together or all playing solo.
Match making will always be long because of the system they put into play. I thank god its not like f13 where you could play a entire day and never be chosen as Jason so if you dont have the patience to play maybe just retire and leave spots for the players that will wait to play the pred

Which is the dumbest Idea. Always wait for the cooldown or if ur timer reaches a dbl ir wait time? 9 mins? Sounds dumb
It is not the math/the number of players that is the only problem here. Everybody gets that the wait for a Pred game is longer by now, most ppl anyway (if not they are probably new to the game) Ppl are getting into lobbies with no Predator, when you start getting placed and connecting to a lobby you get a cooldown and back in the queue, number of game crashes have gone up (can speak for myself and my friends playing), and I could go on…Tired queuing for a Predator game and during 40 minutes I have got 3 cooldowns. Today I have been in a lobby as FT without a Predator in it, twice. Also estimated wait time for a FT game has gone up?! Explain that to me please. Why do I have to wait longer for a FT game than before when the numbers waiting in queue for a Pred game has gone up. I agree with OP that this is broken as hell. Normally games get better as they are patched and updated, but with this game it comes with the price of them breaking something else.

The math and the numbers are all it is. Thats the only explanation. If you cant understand and grasp that then retire. The ps4 players seem to being doing just fine its just the “superior pc player” that seem to being having all the bugs and long wait times. I have never waited for a Pred as ft ever. And today before I went into to work plyed 3 games as pred and wait times were average 7 mins so idk either get a ps4 or use all ur receipts to wipe the tears from ur eyes when the pc side of the game goes forgotten

I’m on ps4. The matchmaking is now having all the aforementioned issues. Private lobbies seem better though.

The biggest thing is that Private lobbies have been fixed so most players are playing that way. Give it a week and quee times will settle back

80 percent of the online players queuing for Qucik Games would have to be FT if queue times should be equal, in theory… Nothing new about that.
OK then…Would you please explain to me how ppl playing in Private Matches affects players entering Qucik Match lobbies and getting no Preator when ppl are queuing for Predator gfames a lot? And the same time please explain to me why ppl are getting more game crashes than before? How does that connect to what you wrote me?

Idk man I was just trying to give a simple answer. But if they “fix” and make it like f13 were it was random then this game will suffer a worse fate than f13. My apologies.

Apology accepted. I agree that making it random would be a mistake. There would be an outcry of biblical proportion if they did that. What I am most concerned with right now is how unstable the game is for a lot of players. I envy that you get few bugs, crashes and errrors :-)
Yeah same here. They just need to make either a dedicated server. With a Limited number of lobbies like 1000 or something idk. And when those lobbies are full you are places into a quee of players not mins. So lets say there are 1025 players wanted to play pred than the extra 25 wait for a lobby to free instead of hopefully being put into a lobby. Idk a thought not a great on cause im street smart and only basic book smart.
