They released the game with very little content and alot of bugs for a full price, hence a lot of game review site, gave this game a mediocre result. Game eventually become better overtime, but no game review site did a reevaluated of the game because the hype died down.
Hopefully, this upcoming Predator movie will bring the hype up and in turn a re-Review of the game. And for just the new price of $10, for sure this game will be given a lot of praise. (if illfonic didn’t f* up big-time)
I think the substantial part should be on the back burner. I completely agree and would prefer to have a stable update.
We haven’t had a single update or patch that hasn’t broke the game yet.
I don’t want to be spending my holiday in the jungle sifting through more bugs :(

shitty updates and a certain set of pple who consider themselves to represent the entire PC community of this game
They’ve had too much time. Without additional content, this game won’t bring back enough players that already left and won’t hold on to new players until the spring update.
But I agree that stability has to be the priority.
The lack of content meanwhile other games around it give it out like candy, isn’t making illfonic look too great.
Sorta like they aren’t even willing to compete.
Fortnite is releasing a pred character model before illfonic has even fixed all the day 1 bugs.
Maybe they’ll release an ultimate hunter edition with led Pred mask?!
That probably has more to say about Gamestop dying than PHG. A majority of the stores have closed around me.
This game hands out content more regularly than other games. Only now have they slowed down to a pace other developers have.
