Game stop now has PHG for $10 new. I don’t think we should continue to hope for too much content anymore. Other than a devoted group, this game is on its way out whether some of you want to admit it or not. This really sucks. I wanted this game to be awesome.

Damn that’s pretty bad. I’m still holding out hope for a turn around like battlefront 2. Please don’t let this next update be a disappointment otherwise I don’t know how they’ll come back from that.

So how does Gamestop sell it for 10 while Epic games and Sony still sell it at the regular price?

I still play it everyday for shits and giggles so I doubt anyone else is playing for single player payoffs or competitive arena sports or for money …
Not particularly surprised. Reality is the Predator doesn’t have the same level of fans as the Star Wars/Marvel/DC crowd. Even if this game had been without issues, it was always going to be a relatively niche group of people buying it.

Gamestop makes it money on used games and as a used games store it also doesn’t make as much money as it’d like. That’s why you see so much videogame merch that isn’t actually videogames in them.
Gamestop’s whole deal is moving product and if you can’t move product you’ve got a huge problem especially for gamestop as things have move online and people just stopped giving a shit about where the game comes from what retailer.
It being 10 dollars is as much a problem as the newest call of duty being 15 dollars within a span of a almost if not a year. As an always online game the title and title like it will drop in price because the way they make the money is on people trying it out, liking it, and buying DLC. Smaller entrance fees make getting new blood a lot easier. Also, not every retailer has it for 10 dollars and pricing is also affected by rarity of a title as much as its features. HG is a smaller game and it came out this year, you should expect to see it on store shelves that is how this works.
I agree but they have to put that DLC out. Plus it has to be DLC that people will buy. Judging by what they have been putting out lately and the rate at which they have been putting it out, they must be starving to death.

If the next update is substantial and stable and if the predator is released in fortnight soon, I think this game could easily make a comeback.
But this holiday update will really need to both substantial and stable.

They have only missed one month with DLC. It’s also traditional DLC. This game doesn’t have micro transitions and expecting that out of an inherently small player base is foolish.
Besides, DLC characters are very common in matches.
It’s a digital copy, that’s why. Digital copies of games almost never lose price. Look at Evolve on the PS store. Still $50 last I checked
I think this game should have been free to play to begin with, like most online only games. That would have had the player base growing on a daily basis.
