Well, two or more players that are constantly next to each other are always going to be tough to beat with melee.
Although, if you reference the movies, the predator almost never attacks multiple people with melee. Exception being the slaughter house, but they had “friendly fire” on.
I can’t see removing melee without a suitable replacement. For example, if you’re the last person calling in reinforcements, parries will be the most important way to stay alive in a 1v1.
Also, the pistols probably need some rebalancing, considering the potential DPS.
All, that being said. Melee requires minimal effort and therefore should be punishing, regardless of the availability of parries.
If fireteam DPS is the issue, then nerf pistols and the AR-W first, then see how the balance looks then.
A lot of people think that illfonic favors the fireteam and have a knee jerk reaction when reading “Pred OP” cuz God forbid illfonic actually believes that and buffs the FT or nerfs the Predator anymore.
Especially because, as I said before, a while ago FT became God awfully powerful and preds spent about a month in absolute fear of being spotted by a not brain dead FT because usually that was almost the end of the match
Well, this might be and must have happened in the recent updates when I wasnt playing but the ones posting in this thread stated Pred wasn’t even OP in the beta or ever.
Which is total nonsense and just shows how triggered they are about that topic so they react irrational from the get go. But I have to admit it sure is fun to watch them go nuts about it.

I agree with you. That being said in predator 2 city hunter literally goes ham with close range combat like 5 times on groups of people hahaah just saying. Like. Multiple multiple times sends it point blank on 6-12 gunmen

It was so far from OP you have absolutely no argument or evidence to support he was OP. Your anecdotal experiences against bad players does not make the predator OP. We have shown you the numbers. And since then, predators have received passive armor. So predators have gotten STRONGER since beta lol. And you know why we all know and accept they aren’t OP now? Cause we have taken the time to play and learn. You should do the same

It literally happened as early as august and that lasted until February because ft actually learned how to play the game back in July
And predators even received bullet dmg resistance so they take LESS damage from ft cause it was so bad and parries got nerfed cause it t was so oppressive

Predators used to have impen perk which did 10% damage. My friend @SkooLBoY_SkePtiK informed me that it was buffed to 20 percent now, as well as hunters passive 7%. So pred went from 10% flat damage mitigation… to 27 percent lol. He’s objectively stronger now than ever. Yet is still underwhelming. You have 0 points to make so you turn to childish stuff. Very good lol
No I’d say I’m pretty solid as the predator. I just play more FT because the que times are, uhhh. Long lol
True, but it was always a mix of ranged weapons and melee weapons, except maybe the train. I can’t remember, but they were just some armed civilians in the dark, so…
