Only thing I won’t play with a mouse are melee-oriented games, racing, and platformers.

and crossplay shooters with absurd amounts of aim assist. at that point you’re just working harder for the same result.

That’s a discussion with no reason and no end.
As for controls, that’s an opinion, not a fact. Some people are confortable with a controller, others are with m/k.
TV has bigger screen, ok, but you can plug the PC to a whatever size monitor, or even to that same TV. Also, a bigger screen means nothing, the quality resides in the refresh rate, colors, definition, contrast, gamma, etc.
The only thing that you can argue about is the quality/performance/price ratio. In that, i think the consoles win by far. On everything else, you can only share your personal opinion based on your personal taste and adaptability.

I turn off aim assist

Only noobs use that

crossplay shooters are overly equalized casual friendly noobfests to begin with. Like willfully playing RDO without the snap aim, despite the fact its more fun - is putting yourself at a huge disadvantage considering the other person is just tapping the trigger and locking onto your torso.

And Halo outright curves bullets for you.

I don’t play Halo but yeah I’ve heard about that stuff

I always long claim people I think have aim assist on even if their teammate are all around

Does this person not realize you can hook up any controller to a pc, I mean, you guys are limited, we’re not…

I sit comfortably on my couch playing AC Valhalla with the pc hooked to my big screen 4k TV using a controller, and I get better graphics and performance than any console out there

So, which one is better?

Stupid thread lmaooooo 🤣🤣🤣

🤏🏼

Well some of us don’t use our money on that stuff

What are you some sort of turtle who never comes out of his shell/basement

I prefer consoles to PC myself but there’s no denying PC is better (depending on your rig). Why are you making this thread?

How do you get that from what I replied?

It’s like now you’re just going full stupid on the forum…

@Xenomorph what is your opinion?

Well a forum is the best place to be stupid lmao

Anyways the shit you buy is all rlly expensive and us other people don’t want to waste our money on it and just play with what we have

Not all people are like you ya know

I’m making it because I want people to see both playing options and what people think is better on their end

Again, this is about which one is better, not which one is more expensive. Of course a powerful pc will be way more expensive, but that’s not what the thread is about nor about how much time one spends playing sitting on a couch or a gaming chair.

So, yea dude…

You brought money into this on your first post 🤣

How is that about money? Don’t console players play on big ass 4k TVs?

Is it too early for you? Go back to sleep brah. I have to go to work so I’m out this bitch…

My tv is standard size like 43 inches that’s pretty small these days

No bigger than 55in for gaming I’d say. Don’t want to move your head all the way to the left or right just to get some gameplay going.

Yeah I just have a regular old tv. It’s good, but I don’t want to spend too much money on it

43 inch is good enough for me

Well I do sit like 3 feet away from it when I’m rlly in gaming mode

ALRIGHT EVERYBODY:

In my opinion, as far as bang for your buck, PS/Console is better (why ppl would spend inordinate amounts for a slight hardware advantage I will never understand). Also PS/Console will be better than the cheapest PC rigs, so if you want that hardware advantage, you’ll be sure to pay for it.

Now, I have this opinion because I have noticed a trend in gaming as a whole. That trend is that console players seem to game much more casually, and pc players tend to take gaming very seriously. (These are general trends I noticed, not every gamer is going to conform to this, but I’ve noticed it for a reason)

  • For someone who has gaming as a main hobby and the cash to spare, they would be more likely to get a pc.
  • For someone who has gaming as a secondary or tertiary hobby (or is just really busy), and can’t justify spending that much for something they will do occasionally, or don’t have that much money to spare and want to enjoy their hobby, they are more likely to get a console.

I myself fall into the camp of getting a console because gaming is a tertiary hobby for me, and I don’t spend nearly enough time doing it to justify buying an expensive pc.

But in all seriousness, the best console is better than the best of pc’s. That console is the Wii of course.
