Recon I really enjoy amphibious with double time thick skin and gear head. Mercenary rifle and the super high DPS submachine gun. Take frags.

You can’t go wrong with thick skin and gearhead on any class that is not support. I usually start with thick skin and pick the rest of the perks based on the role I’m trying to fill.

For recon, the most powerful perk is Tracker when paired with the Spotter specialization, then you probably want double time and gearhead. That will let you keep the predator spotted for 9 seconds each spot (and crucially, you can re-spot after about 7 seconds even if he’s already spotted, to keep spot on essentially constantly), and the pred will be at ~80% speed for the first 4-5 seconds of each spot. Double time and gearhead will allow you to be fast enough have enough syrettes that you can chase the predator down without too much worry as long as you recognize when it’s time to turn tail and run back to the safety of your team.

Agree, but you can also swap out Double Time with Thick Skin. That’s what I typically do, but if I run Amphibious Recon, I stack DT for the ridiculous run speed.
