What happened here?

@Courier After waiting for 11 mins I finally get a match. 4 FT are loaded in, everything seems well. I load into the map, excited. I proceed to my usual vantage point on this map when things got weird;

  1. I couldn’t come out of thermal.
  2. I couldn’t decloak.
  3. Couldn’t throw smart disc which I used to break thermal lock.
  4. My character froze in a pose but was still movable.

I’ve seen the FT, so head away from them to see if it will eventually right itself so I can get back to the hunt. Then suddenly everything freezes and I get a Network Error…

Here’s the video of my struggle;

I’m using Smart Disc, Hand Held Plasma Caster, Down Range, Fearless, Impenetrable, Audio Decoys, Medical Kit and Motion Sensors.

When I was unable to decloak you’ll notice the energy bar doesn’t move, and I’m wondering if I had somehow become totally invisible which is another bug that is doing the rounds…

Your connection failed. Happened to me a lot of times.

The issues happened before the disconnect. The FT were over at the far side, I could see them moving and doing the OBJ but I couldn’t decloak or come out of thermal. When I did come out of thermal they were still over there doing the mission, so we were all still connected to each other at that time. I think the connection failure began when my Predator locked in the pose, that’s when I moved towards Drug Road hoping everything would fix itself.

You was looking at the last commands received from the host, just before the disconnect.

The game continues, some features just keep going… soldiers keep walking, birds singing, but the game is already dead. The end is close.

Believe me, this happens to me all the time.

James Cameron will look at this issue.

If present in his special edition of the game he will patch it.
