I think it was me who was doing the ungodly amount of damage in my laggy state
Because on my end everyone was slowly walking in a direction. So because I knew I was about to crash I decided to try and shoot off the predator’s mask, but I reconnected back into the game long enough for my damage to count before I actually crashed

It’s a glitch that has been there since the 2.0 update. You can see that also in a clip of RantorRave streamer in which after being second winded he get one shotted instantly. Btw from this video it looks like post processing on ps4 is the same of Low on Pc , cause I have it on medium and the quality of the light in Excavation is better compared to that video, I might be wrong.
Also it can be that, when some one has 150+ ping sometimes the server glitch out and you can get one shotted but the guy were shooting at you from the start.
Okay. That makes sense. I was concerned it had something to do with the audio decoy.
I guess the easiest solution would be to deprioritize player damage during a lag spike. Maybe this occurrence is extremely rare. It’s just unfortunate for someone playing predator, because queue times.

First, standard ps4 records at 720p, the game runs at 1080 on the tv.
As far as low pc vs ps4, I already recreated screenshots of the different textures and draw distances a while back.
