What Have I Missed?

I played religiously at launch up until October 2020, then migrated to playing Red Dead Online and Sea of Thieves.

Coming back to this game, what major changes should I be privy to from game balancing to new content?

nothing. Just 2 new preds (viking and valkyrie) a new FT with a rocket launcher. but no new map or game mode. You can continue playing red dead or Sea of thieves

I was still playing for a bit when Viking was released.

No night maps yet? I hope we get those eventually!

sadly no… I wish we would have got them…
there is no new patch planned in march
but there is a “big” (as Illfonic said) patch comming next month

Big could mean shaders for all we know 😁 and stability fixes that may or may not cause stability issues. The level cap hopefully gets raised at least

I find it best not to have too much hope and if they do drop something decent its a pleasant surprise, after the first 6 months thats been my go to process

What’s good/bad about Dante “Beast Mode” Valkyrie and OWLF Operative?

There also is a EMP Mine now.

FT specializations, there have been some minor balance changes, you missed some of the bad ones I think. Plasma splash damage might be a little larger an area than you remember.
New DLC classes, Valkryie is a scout/Hunter hybrid, Dante is a support/recon hybrid.

The lockboxes have actual decent drop numbers now for yellow and red items now so they’re worth it if you want the mythic pred cosmetics

You ain’t kidding about loot boxes , I went from zero trophies to having 10 in 3 days , there is alot of items not been added to the drops though

I have 350,000 V from when I played before. I might try my chances at some lockers.

Oh almost forgot, Proximity mine launcher. Basically a FT clone of pred motion detector. Fired from a grenade launcher, sticks to surfaces, spots and decloaks pred in range of the mine. Useful if you can land it on branches

The more stuff you have unlocked now already the better your odds. You get the cool knife skins too which I kinda dig

Once you hit a certain amount of inventory unlocks , you make 10k V per 10 boxes easily in duplicate credit

With all the new gear and FT weapons added has there been favorable balancing for the Predators?

Well the game is new to me, but I have issues with two dlc’s I just downloaded and I did everything from tutorials to see my downloads I purchased and I don’t see them anywhere in my ps4. At least I can play with Dutch’s weapons at the moment but don’t see him in custom load out.

Select one to customise and there should be a box at the top for classes , dlc will be there
