What if

Think the second pistol is pretty clear and close to video game level accurate as a 1911. Definitely looks more that than a Desert eagle.
John Woo double glocs would definitely be interesting and fun…I’m kinda digging that idea.

Dual wield would be a awesome Skill to have.

Just with the Grimtech, it would make it a viable option for loadouts and be pretty badass. Obviously you can’t ADS but I would absolutely run with hip fire dual wielding 9mm pistols just for the sheer fun

I have had time to let my thoughts linger in my brain for a couple hours.
I will agree with everyone that Prone is crazy and should never be added. I made sure I was as unbiased as possible to not favor one side over the other. (Yes I know went in depth more with Pred than ft but ft is simple self explanatory)

But I have been thinking over the Health, Over shield idea.

Is the over shield idea. Now with what I said above with it being Energy based does not mean it drains energy. It simple runs on the same system so if you have depleted your Energy it will not work same with getting A.C.I. However with that, When the bar refills the shield will be active again.
Getting the shield taken from you via damage Has a separate cool down. @Fire stated that the cool down would make players play around the cool down. Which is true, but I have thought of a solution or at least a way to speed up regeneration and also give players a chance to speed up the time every 20% damage dealt from all sources will Take away 20 seconds from the recharge.

In all honesty… you guys are expecting way too much from a game developed by basically an Indie company.

The only thing that will balance the game for everyone is boosting everyone’s health so the outcome of the game comes down to which faction exhausts resources faster.

No amount of buff/nerf will balance the game. There will always be complains. But if you make it that either faction loses because misuse of ammo, medkits, syrenges, etc. then the balance is done in the gameplay and not in ridiculous damage like what we have right now.

ATM, some preds are nearly impossible to kill because they can down you in 1 or 2 shots and once you are downed, you are dead. Then you have great FT’s downing preds in less than 2 minutes because they stand still like idiots and they snipe the shit out of them.|

Damage output is the only thing unbalanced, IMO, on this game. The amount of damage you can deal vs the amount of damage you can receive is just plain stupid.

At this point, they could just make a classic death-match with instant re-spawn and use the kill count for awarding a winner.

Exhausting resources sounds boring. And yes, it will become a deathmatch type gameplay then. It won’t seem like the hunt at all, which is still what we have now, even though it’s ‘broken’.

I’d rather see a ranking system.

PS rank would be worth 3/4th of PC. Initially less skilled preds would take on a little more skilled FTs, so melee is not too OP; on the opposite end, higher skilled preds would take on FT skilled just below them. This would leave very top FTs without a worthy opponent, but at least the low, intermediate and some of the top skilled players will be well matches.

Ranked matchmaking with the current player base seems impossible. Pretty much even longer queues for Preds and then longer queues for FTs.

Player base right now is so small that we usually face the same Pred 2 and 3 times in a row during late time in the US, which has the biggest player base.

Even when we don’t have a full squad, we team up with the same FT randoms

Agreed. It dawned on me a few minutes after posting.

TBH, the best private matches I’ve had have been when this happens. It switches your mindset to be more careful about your shots and not waste ammo like crazy. Forces you to move around more and be more active in order to dodge attacks. And overall, it just keeps you in the edge because you know you have limited resources.

And this is why I always make sure now to go around the map first and destroy the ft resources, before engaging.

I saw Fire mention the pred is too 1v1 focused and I’d agree, but I’ll also remind everyone that the Combistick’s description says it’s made to take out multiple FT at once:

Problem is, it’s not like that at all, more like a toothpick than an actual weapon

It used to be like that., but players learned to step away and wait for the other member to be downed instead of rushing.
