Nop, its the lag(or a very special type of bug). I’ve seen predators running into walls, shooting till they die and then they teleport back like 100m and go into down state.
In his case its probably some other guys shooting him but because he is lagging he did not realized it. That is why his health evaporates like that.

Really? But only players can use thermal grenades, so there should be another player nearby. But THIS downed player was the only one in lobby, others were dead. And when he was finally killed with this plasma shot, the game was over. So, there were NO other alive players. It surely was not a lag.

Well in that case, no idea. I’ve once turned invisible from the chopper(aka from the start) and then I was not visible in the scoreboard. Eventually the game crashed. I did nothing different then hitting the que. One thing is for sure, the game is full of bugs.
Its the lag. If you down someone while they are lagging, their game won’t register them as being downed, but when they get back in, they will be on the ground, shuffling, but with full access to their inventory.
Just like you took advantage of his lag, he took advantage of it as well.

Server registration being garbage since everything in this game seems to go through the server and not the client. I’ve been able to crawl around on the ground with a shotty. It’s random and requires the perfect amount of lag before you go down.

This is the T865, the new terminator model that wont go down so easy. It will pretend to be badly injured to buy some more time but it’s actually reprogramming itself to find it’s victim’s weaknesses.

That’s actually a cool glitch. I’ve always thought that players that are down should be able to continue shooting from the hip. Not full access to ADS and inventory though.
That would make sense. Although I would take umbrage with the notion I “took advantage of his lag”, although perhaps I did unwittingly. I messed him up while we was interacting with his objective. He knowingly did some bs after it was over.
Fair, but this isn’t the first time this topic has been made, and some of them have been far more obvious. Like there was a guy just running into a corner, so the pred shot him and then tried to deny the guy was lagging.

Dude had 999ms of ping (that’s the max that can be reported so its safe to say he could even had more time).
It’s not a hack or a glitch. It’s lag. It can happen both ways too. I’ve been killed that way too, when I am running away from Pred and all of a sudden I’m being quick claimed.
Avoid matches with people who have such high ping times.

Its a bug. Was playing FT once and got downed while firing the mini gun… when I was on the ground I kept firing uncontrollably had infinite ammo till I was revived.

It also doesn’t help this pred is a scout so his health would melt regardless (atleast I think it’s a scout?)
I confirm this one it’s new bug from the latest patch. Yesterday I was shooting to a Predator when he was healing in second wind from far distance and when he get downed he instatly teleported himself 1 meter in front of me. I think it’s new problem of the serverd of PHG.
