Thats how they felt making AVP1 in 1999. Welcome to the highdef world of 2022 where it costs alot for visual artists and imaginative writers to stitch every single logical gameplay eliminant into something thats cohesive and apart of a new narrative however lightweight it is. You siimply only consider this a good game if the game suddenly has a budget worthy of James Cameron film then everything will be perfect.

devs simply made games to be fun for themselves back then, rather than to appeal to shareholders and as many people as possible.

RDR2 plays the best of all the high resolution bs games out there (that are basically just tech demos) in addition to being one of the most expensive games to develop & yet they just cut support for it a few months back. After adding nothing but some cutscenes and instanced content.
