It’s difficult to pinpoint one dream job that everyone shares, as everyone’s interests and aspirations are unique. Some people may dream of being doctors, actors, or musicians, while others may want to be scientists, engineers, or writers. I’ve always wanted to become a phlebotomist. A phlebotomist draws blood for samples, tests, etc., including diagnostic testing, blood transfusions, and research. They work in a variety of settings, including hospitals, clinics, laboratories, and blood banks, and are an essential part of the healthcare system.

I’ve actually been living my dream job for a few years now. After spending 15 solid years working in a local bakery, my wife and I decided to take the plunge and open our own. Those early mornings, working with the freshest ingredients and seeing the smiles on customers’ faces when they tasted our pastries, it was all so fulfilling. And now, getting to do all that in a place we built from the ground up? It’s like a dream come true.

Our journey wasn’t without its challenges, though.

There were countless nights when we stayed up late discussing plans, menus, and budgeting. We had to learn how to manage employees, navigate permits and health codes, and of course, perfect our recipes even further.

I wrote an article about how to start your own bakery, which you can read if you visit bizop.org. Also there you can find other articles about starting other types of businesses.

Oncologist. Aka Cancer Doc.
Hell of a journey to get there, but the reward of helping those who need it makes it worth it. Pays exceedingly well, too. Like half a million for a yearly salary in the upper end.

saxmaniac and my skills are declining.

The worst part of healthcare is getting out of school and realizing its corrupt everywhere from the top down built entirely on lobbying gov services.

Then you have the people at the lowest ranks of the heirarchy Bobo and friends getting paid a walmart salary so they figure whats the point and leave your cancer patient sitting in his own piss so the person gets a UTI and dies.

Its all quantity over quality wouldnt it be nice to raise the bar as a whole but then there would be less fast food workers in charge of making sure people don’t hit their head and die.

Dream jobs vary greatly among individuals and depend on their interests, passions, and aspirations. There is no one-size-fits-all answer to this question, as people’s dreams and career aspirations are unique to them.
