its been how long since F13 came out and Savini still gets brought up. Illfonic should have known this was going to happen.

But hell, I get Savini, nobody knew the game would be made or not, it was Kickstarter. This is different, you’re backing a game that has Sony’s money already behind it with a definite release.

Not to mention, as time goes on, who’s to say some of the pre order folk are still going to play the game, you’ll start seeing it less and less in game amd then its just something that collects dust. I see people arguing that people aren’t real fans that didn’t pre order lol but who is the bigger fan, someone that pre ordered the game and then stopped playing and didn’t buy most of the DLC or someone who bought the game and all the DLC and kept on playing and paying?

Its really only a debate that has no real ending to it, the only way it ends is if it is released, or everyone has left the game entirely.

I’m trying, ive offered the alternatives, they are there. Right now I’m grinding out the Mask from drops and Elder, I honestly feel I would have accomplished more than simply paying for it right away, but ill still see the class list and “Jungle Hunter 87” won’t be listed and ill have that little thought in the back of my head.

Hard to take a middle ground stance, but im trying to stay as neutral as I can, but I also believe what I believe when it comes to how I perceive pre orders.

They aren’t leaving anything over a cosmetic skin lol. Its just the same collectathoners complaining. Ocassionally they see 1 person using the skin and it reminds them it exists and this incites rage because someone on the internet has a shiny thing that they want.

Oof, im getting flashbacks of Savini again, because that same argument came up over wether it was a skin or not.

It is clearly not just a skin, because it’s not a mask or armor you can apply to the base hunter, its a unique entry on the Predator’s classes. You’ve essentially got a whole class as opposed to just a skin. There is a difference.

It’s a hunter reskin lol. It actually had worse energy management at launch until they patched it.

ahhh thats what I heard, I remember hearing how it was weaker than base hunter for some reason, so that must have been it lol.

Either way, like I said, there is alternatives, but if it ever comes down to it and there are a bunch of Original Predator FT DLCs and im playing with my friends, id certainly like to select Jungle Hunter 87 and relive the hunt in game form. Sure, I have an alternative, but i know I’d select JH 87 first before going to the alternative.

At least I HAVE an alternative though, no such thing existed with Savini, that was locked and sealed in the vault never to be seen or heard from again.

If I left every game because someone was a poop-head over a pre-order, or a dev made something free after a while, Id still be playing SNES!

Same for many other preorders, especially the gamestop exclusives that are lost to time forever. Look at avp2010 and that was like 3 different skins. Doesn’t matter at the end of the day because its not like you got locked out of a map or weapon. Just shiny pixels.

I’m already annoyed we have two dutches with the same lines, laziness & waste of a release month but atleast he has different stats not that it really matters. Elder was already given out for free. But I swear there’d be people happy if illfonic just released the same skins over and over. JH with chains! (Crucified) JH with a pouch and necklace! (elder) Etc etc etc absolute waste of time

Yeah, I seriously hated retailer exclusive stuff because you’d have to either preorder 3 to 5 different ways or you lost out no matter where you picked.

avp2010 was another one but there exists workarounds to use them, on PC at least lol

Can they just release the jungle hunter for $20 and be done with it. It would be a nice boost in revenue for them, if all the non preorder people are as big of fans as they say.

I’d rather hear people bitch about JH, then hear about how the devs can’t be trusted.

Just me, you are all welcome to feel differently but we would be trading one set of noise for another. This noise is just that, noise. Giving trolls and even fans licence to say they go back on their word is to much a cost.
