What the people who want JH as DLC don't realize.

I feel like the people who still want JH as DLC don’t realize when they say something along the lines of :

“I will leave this game if I don’t get JH!”

Well, Sherlock, imagine how many people who pre-ordered are gonna leave. They also say :

“Stop being greedy! Just give it to us!”

Which is also not true. They aren’t greedy because they are giving a skin to a devoted supporter, they are just doing what they said they would do, AKA give you a pre-order bonus.

Also, IMO, the only reason people want him is the “nostalgia”. I honestly feel like if that is the main factor, they are probably gonna play with JH for a week and then never touch him again.

If they say :

“My game won’t be complete without JH!”

Have you ever considered how many people DON’T have JH and are fine with it? It’s because they don’t care that they don’t have JH and accept that they didn’t pre-order. GET. OVER. IT, IT. IS. A. SKIN.

I just dont think people would leave on either side of the aisle, if youre a fan of something, why would you leave over such a trivial thing?

Also, yes nostalgia does play a factor, maybe they’d like to have it to have a sense of completion, i agree with that point but at the same time, while being fine with it, they will still feel it is incomplete.

Idk, I’m just devil’s advocate on this debate. I’m in the camp that would like to see it released, id certainly pay the money, but if it don’t it don’t. I’ll make due with what I have, HOWEVER, I will always have this sense of it being Incomplete everytime i play.

It is what it is though

Jungle Hunter, even if it is a standard Hunter in this game, has a very special place in my heart, my memories and the awe I feel when I see the words “Jungle Hunter 87” when playing FT and check what Pred we are up against cannot be matched by any other. I can’t explain it, but those matches feel special.
Yes, it’s just a Hunter class. But standard Hunter doesn’t have that cool armour, that cool skin texture, the iconic shoulder caster… I’ve made faux Jungle Hunters using the Elder Mask, but it isn’t anywhere near the same. I would very likely stare at Jungle Hunter in Customisation for long periods of time, travelling back to childhood memories watching the movie on a Betamax tape and the smell of mums cooking in the air…

You either get it, or you don’t.

One can argue the publisher sparked this problem with their decision, why an actual movie predator and not something unique? Why exclusive and not just timed exclusive? Hell, a year would have been long enough, and if the game is still alive at that point, then everyone gets in on the fun.

A year from now though, this will still be up for debate. Its never going to end.
