So I wanted to get some opinions from players on the FT knife strat. If you’re playing as Pred and you see a FT member run at you with his knife, what’s an effective counter to that? They seem to still deal a hell of a lot of damage, and have a chance of causing a parry with every swing. I’ve seen a sudden rise in the number of players doing this, especially at the exfil.
What are some good strats? I know netgun is great but not all loadouts have it, so I’d like to hear other options.

If you don’t have a netgun then I would suggest backing up and start firing Plasma on them.
One can also leap and slam, and you can also throw the stick if you got one.
Jump away and use the Canon
Ok, plasma caster sounds good. What if they’ve knocked off your biomask?
Then you got to use whatever gear you got on you.
Walk backwards while they run after you and shoot them with the bow, no need to charge it up, deals enough damage up close.
I usually leap to a higher vantage point (on top of a building, etc.) and then nuke them in the face with the Plasma Caster. I don’t know that I’ve ever been taken out buy knife-happy FT’s, because I never let them get that close. It’s sad that the Predator needs to be afraid of one-to-one combat with a wimpy, little human but them’s the breaks.
