WHAT WOULD HAPPEN: If they put a FIXED day/night cycle publics

This shit got me thinking:
What if they hard coded the day/night cycles on a per hour basis?

So that day and night would transpire on matches as a 1 hour progression in public matches?
1st half hour as day, and then last half hour as night for every hour that transpires? Even give us some variation or make it a progressive system where the day becomes dawn then night then dusk then day …etc.

It would finally make the randomness less apparent. Wouldnt you all agree?

Unless I’m mistaken, maybe they already put it in?
How hard could it be really?

Define “good”. Have i fought PC Preds and won? Yes. Were they skilled at all? Not really. Its not hard to keep track of the Pred, its a concept lost on most players in pubs.

Playing on PC doesn’t make you instantly good.
Just look at that Scout Duelist with SMG and no syringes. 😂

Not at all, but I can attest as a former PC gamer, no console controller can hold a candle to the precision of an optical mouse. It’s these differences like standard input devices, that can give PC gamers a significant edge.

I agree about mouse vs controller precision.
I don’t even own a controller, never had a console, but I did play games like FIFA on PS with friends and everytime I held a controller I was like, man I wish I could just use a keyboard instead.

It just felt limited to me.
There were console players here who would brag about killing some potato PC players in PHG and they had this philosophy that everyone who plays on PC is good, which is far from truth.

There are many factors that decide your performance when playing on PC, from FPS to your gear (m&k, monitor etc).

On console (if everyone has the same console) you get the same hardware and optimisation.
A player won’t perform the same if he’s on PS4 vs PS5. It’s the same for PC.

Btw we played a couple of matches in pubs, you would always push the mission while I would always push the Pred player. 🤣

Metaphorically, the car is only as good as its driver. Having a PC and/or fireteam DLC doesn’t make you a better player, but may enhance your gaming experience, most certainly not your skillset. There are still a massive sum of PC and/or fireteam DLC players I sweep the floor with Scout class predator, and I play on XBOX. Iif I happen to get my ass handed to me, that’s perfectly fine. At least, I’ll know in the future who can actually play.

I’m not here for competitive reasons, but I love gathering information. I got a few flash drives filled with matches dated back every few months, keeping tabs on everyone I’ve played for or against on both sides.

This must’ve been ages ago, or you’re just trolling me. Unless the pred is stalling, or totally lost from finding us, I never push the mission. Plus, I main Recon w/ tracker, so I’m usually scouring the mission area and listening for the pred through my headset. Otherwise, the match gets boring af, and I might as well leave and go into another match. If the pred gets in my face, I’m all-in for a fight, but the team should show up as well.

Last time I played PHG was 6-7 months ago, I had you as FT in pubs in several matches, maybe you changed the way you play since then.

Yeah, I started playing PHG around that timeframe. Currently lvl 871, so I’ve learnt a thing or two since.
