Easiest but not the best. This is a game as a service. Taking a little while longer is fine.
Not necessarily. We just need builds to be interesting. DBD has a ton of builds but none are stronger than the old adrenal, dead hard, borrowed, DS build. But the game still promotes diverse builds through each build just being so dynamic. They fundamentally feel different. The only different you feel in this game is how fast you can go.
Even complicated rng would have problems working as I’ve already stated my reasons.
That is true. But to be honest balancing the game for better diversity in builds shouldn’t be a bad thing.

I think more dynamics such as exploding and lighting gasoline floods or using vehicles to perform long distance tasks.
More realistic movement in AI and cleaver ways to fool them.
I think the more experiences like these dynamics would offer more rewards to people and not just currency rewards but emotive rewards.
I get that ppl want to get good at the game, but I think its those ‘wow’ moments that make up for content.
Revert all damage nerfs for the Pred to normal.
If everything is viable, youl see a lot if build variety.
But I’m going by one game I played where everything was really good, and everything was viable.
But everything would have to be balanced.
Years ago. James Cameron used to play Soldier Of Fortune 2 on PC. In multiplayer you had the great option of random map generation. But you could set parameters like size, terrain, location (jungle, town etc) it was fun.
It could definitely work in PHG. Random terrain elevation, chance of a stream or lake, random base locations with chance of a cave now and again. Also ability to change time of day, why this option doesn’t exist already is beyond even James Cameron’s wisdom.

If they really want to help potato players, they should only let the predator hear the fireteam at the beginning and end of the match and during long claims.
This sounds good. At least for private matches.
Not to mention night and fog randomization (if ever that becomes available).
Every move in this game, every route is becoming more and more predictable its like the movie “Edge of Tomorrow”!
I get voice chat is a real immersion killer. For that the chatwheel would have to include more stuff, that would really help.

How many big name developers are able to do this, let alone Illfonic? Just not going to happen.
I’m for this in theory as it gives the Preds more time to stalk/hunt properly, but they’d likely have to scale back the amount of AI the FT have to encounter to give them a chance.
Think this would cause issues with matchmaking and wait times. I can also see a lot more FT quitting as soon as they get killed.
I’m not sure having the FT’s guns susceptible to damage will be all that popular, but it’s an interesting idea.
Suggested this ages ago to go in combination with longer matches (where there would be a set time before FT could extract). Basically, they could have the ability to set a ‘Tree Trap’ (like in the movie) in a number of random places (similar to how the reinforcement towers are randomized). However, it’s one of those ideas where I don’t think the devs are capable of implementing the game mechanic (net lifting into tree and associated ‘Pred caught in it’ animations).
I’m going to get hung but I like that there’s the voice chat, I think we can all agree that perks aside the real advantage of a fire team is cooperation and coordination, if I had three people in my life that could agree to listen to one person I would find it quite thrilling to ice a predator through coordinated tactics
I agree with you, I dont think ilfonic could pull it off, or we have the technology, but I think it might be possible on a good enough level.
Yea I suggest tree snares for predator so we can get a skinning animation as a long claim
