Though I’ve played the game for countless hours, there’s one sound I’ve never understood, so I’m looking for some insight.
When playing as Predator, there’s occasionally a two-note low pulsing sound, with the second note slightly higher in pitch. I think this only occurs when in heat vision.
Folks, what is this sound supposed to signify? Your proximity to the Fireteam? An indication of their general direction? Or nothing at all?
Thanks.
What's that sound?
Anybody?
It’s FT completing objectives…I think.
I think it has something to do with the timer, an audio cue to help you keep track of how much time is left. It seems to happen on the minute/5 mins marker?? Whenever I’ve replayed footage it’s always been on a fresh minute.
The only strange one i’ve noticed is the sound wind blowing and then the sound of a mouth when you hiss…for about 6 seconds before it turns into a clicking.
Whats a two-note?
There’s a lot of important sounds in this game, and other mechanics, that the Devs didn’t care to explain to us. Whatever happened to games with instruction booklets that told you wtf the game was about.
Is it the double buzz sound at 2:06?
If so, then i think it just belongs with the vision effect, no special function, just some jamming noise.
I can’t tell by the description because I’m not smart enough to know what a two-note sound is, but, your Second Wind meter coming back has an audio cue.
Not sure man, I’m sorry. If you can find a byte of it, I’m interested in the answer.
I’m going to wake up in the middle of the night now and scream about this noise.
It’s like a one note sound
Only there’s one more sound
That can be the same or different as the previous sound
In this case different
I’m an audiophile
