I uninstalled a while ago because illfonic obviously isn’t putting any love into this product but how many people are actually still playing? I’m only here to check and see if they ever do anything from time to time but I can’t image it’s more than a few hundred players left.
What's the actual player count of this game?
Well since there’s still people covering the game, the new Prey movie coming out, and numerous noobs coming into the game, it’s sky rocketing.
I literally just ran into fans of mine in 3 different games with 3 different teams.

Getting lower. I’m running into names in the community and recurring players way too much these days. Before the start of this year pretty much every match was somebody new, actually meeting someone else in the community was an event, it was special. Becoming way too formulaic now. I mean shit, most fights these day have at least 1 person with the Nolan Helmet on, which requires you to put way more time into the game than any casual will.
I love how these two responses differ so much.
Feels like it’s just a matter of perception.
Yeah what constitutes for skyrocketing in this context? 30-50 new players? I’m curious where the playerbase is at.
The worst part is I’m playing LESS these days too, so I dunno why I keep getting most of the same names over & over again. I just got back to the game after a 3 week break of ESO & Monster Hunter. I had around 1100 hours logged in in 2021 and never had this problem.
Couple hundred peak hours with crossplay on.
Who knows how low without ps+
A shame they didn’t actually strive for anything around what was basically f2p launch
No idea. But even with new people, the issue is how many will actually stick with the game.
This game offers very little.
I loved it for a good while tho.
So hard to say how many consistent players there are.

Arcadegeddon & Ghostbusters killed this game 100%
Yeah first year I was all in. Second year fatigue set in. Third year doesn’t look like it’s happening.
All we get is one actual game mode, and a half assed cod domination no one asked for. I’d wager they seriously considered capture the flag.
I certainly regret ever defending their incompetence, but goddamn was Year 1 actually fun. I miss it. If we could go back to before Specs were introduced, I would.
Well let’s see:
There’s me yours truly and lovin guy.
There’s Voodoo1stLady making her appearance again.
There’s JessicaRomina’s a very passionate streamer.
There’s @CHUCK_YT going strong.
There’s @Samhain13 still posting despite his negative views.
There’s a new runner DinoKiller who I’ve gotten to work with, awesome creator and wizard with editing.
There’s SuperSpinoGaming still popping 3 videos at a time.
There’s @melatraealpyro who I haven’t gotten to work with but still see their videos now and then.
There’s Angry Beard Gaming.
And more up and coming content creators for the game, so yeah that’s like more then 3 from what I’m counting but hey what do I know.
I don’t. It’s good to encourage a newer studio to go all out. Thing is they absolutely 100% are not thinking about the players whatsoever. If they did wed have predator 1v1 and maybe a 4 way free for all, maybe even 3v3 preds, the long anticipated but never happening 3v12…
Nah, they made rush in a weekend lol
They dropped the ball, that’s on them. We didn’t know any better.
I don’t even wanna see them attempt a new mode if they can’t even make the fucking default fun.
Hey nomad, I was wandering what I would need to edit my videos to the point where their actually good.
The hype behind a new mode was because Hunt sucks.
too bad Clash sucked harder.
King of The Hill is already the most unpopular mode in most standard FPSes, just lobbing grenades at a point.
