You could check the content before buying and decide if it was worth it. The fact that the 87 skin and minigun came with the normal version wasn’t a secret.

Apparently to me it was lol.
I had read the descriptions wrong so I came to terms with not getting the '87 Predator skin… but then by day 2 of playing, I had it. All my friends that play and bought standard have it too.
I’ve definitely had my money’s worth in fun too ☺

So you’re saying I can unlock the 87 variant through loot boxes?? Is it just the helmet, or the whole body?? I gotta have it, so looks like I’m going to have to solo grind in Private matches again😏

Dude solo grinding is the best way to get loads of XP and gems. Well, recordings as well. While it’s fun playing as the Pres, playing as FT will get you much more XP, well, and gems, haha.
Keep spotting things, mudding up, disabling alarms, meleeing AI enemies, etc.

Oh man, it will. It HAS to. Well, at least be improved I mean. Problem with that is that matchmaking adjustments and fixes can be a hell of a doozy.

😊👍🏼Yeah, I play Fireteam in solo for the grind. Playing as Predator doesn’t make the game spawn all the AI because there’s no mission objectives being completed. At first I was just grinding my weapons to unlock all the add-ons, but now it’s for the Veritanium and honing my skills in FPS because this is the first First Person Shooter game I’ve played, so it’s strange to me not seeing my character all the time.
you cant unlock the skin/class though. and you got EXACTLY what you paid for. Deluxe editions are always like that.
Its like £200 pair of trainers… they make them ONLY because someone will buy them… they are no different than £50 trainers.
Ofcourse they will upsell because people will buy it.
I NEVER buy deluxe anything exactly for this reason.

I literally just launch a Private match as Firetean and play solo, no other people. I don’t have to worry about a Predator hunting me or teammates rushing the objectives, I can take my time and collect all the Veritanium that spawns, find the OWLs Recordings IF they spawn, and get used to first person perspective because being a third person only player (GTA, Red Dead, Metal Gear type games) it’s taking some getting used to. I haven’t yet seen a Predator player acknowledge that the third person perspective alone gives them a huge advantage, being able to see around corners and inside buildings but that is part of the balancing and I accept that.

Maybe they can implement a tilt system for the fps people sorta like in rainbow 6. Who knows!!!
That could also remove the parry option and force people to change their weapon to a knife?
