What's the point in deluxe?

I bought deluxe for $80 canadian dollars.

Sort of not feeling like the extra $40 was worth it.

Ole painless green spatter blood and the 87’ mask are all unlockable through crates (why?) with the early access to certain items being buggy and not needed because you leveled to 100 in less than 2 days with the double xp boost.

The ps4 mask warpaint is I’d say a $1 addition at best.

Should I have waited till sony decides for this game to go free to play?

Should I have gone for the regular edition?

Should IllFonic just push off launch and made things better.

It was only 20$ extra. The regular edition was 60$. They were pretty clear about what deluxe vs standard was to include so it shouldn’t be a surprise. I opted for the standard, no regrets.

They called them exclusive.

Players like yourself can unlock the things people spent 20 dollars more for.

Exactly. I opted for Standard too, the 87’Hunter didn’t seem worth the extra expense and I can get the digitised graphic novel from a certain Pirate Ship I know😏

I paid £34.99 for PS4, and I’ve easily had my money’s worth in entertainment, gameplay and meeting cool new people. I’m glad I took a chance with this game, as FPS styles are new to me.

I went for the pre-order for the skin and after looking at the deluxe could see it wasnt anything that couldnt be got in game other than the epic exclusive colours.

We can only unlock Ole’Painless skin for the minigun. Everything else is DDE exclusive. We don’t get the 87’Hunter Predator variant and all the skins etc that are exclusive to that. We don’t get the digitised Graphic Novel.

LOL I understand where you’re coming from but if you read the descriptions of both, it’s clear in saying “early access”, not exclusive. The exclusivity is the colours I believe. Also the graphic novel and of course the x2 xp. It was all laid out for us. I’m sorry you made the wrong choice lol 🤗

I bought the Deluxe cause I wanted to support the devs and because I was excited in the game. Like all Deluxe Editions, they’re not for everyone, but they’re there for those that wanna get it.

While my sole purpose was to support, I thought the unique skins and items were pretty cool. Double XP was a nice touch too.

PC gamers have still not recieved some of this content.
