What's the reason for hunt mode not being 20 mins

Just another 5 mins would really help, fireteam members just blitz past the objectives. I think if the game was more than 20 mins that won’t be good since ppl are waiting to play in the queue but at the moment moment the game is quite a populated.

Are you serious? Half the missions can be completed in 3min.

They also boring. Ctrl+c --> Ctrl+v

Missions are WAAAY too short. Half the time, just as I start my attack on the mercenaries they call for the chopper.

It’s poorly made. Remove the pred and the game is absolutely nothing. Most rounds with the pred aren’t interesting either. There’s so much more they could do with this game but it’s over.

The reason it’s 15 minutes is entirely for Predator. You’re supposed to stay on them and hammer them down so that they take too long and run out the clock, to avoid this they will make mistakes causing you to get a kill.

Missions can be completed within 3-6 minutes and so the rest of that time is literally for you to be a pain in the ass. Make note of that at the end of a match, look at how much time you spent putting them in the ground compared to how long it takes to complete that mission.

5 you say? Nah more like 6, 7. Maybe 8.

15 minutes is a very convenient amount of time, in my opinion. It balances gameplay time with real life. I could get the annoyance when predator queues were 15 minutes as well, but queue times have been good lately so that’s no longer an issue.

The Timer is just a timer. Infact you can set it to infinite time in private mode.
But otherwise, i don’t see what you are trying to say. Missions can take 5-15 minutes to finished. Hell they can skip the mission altogether and never do it. Thus infinite time could be used to make it last forever.

As for putting this into All Public matches …that is a problem becuase people have issues with other people for not being gud. Thats not going to change, and making missions deliberately 20 minutes is a solid rage quit for some.

You can set the timer for 1 hour… doesn’t make a difference. FT will complete the mission or kill the pred in 5 minutes… or the pred will wipe the FT in 5 minutes. Damage is too high on both sides for the match to be extended that long.

Only a handful of times the match actually goes into a time-out. And is usually because all players are equally skilled and there is either a lack or overabundance of resources to heal.

I understand maybe for other games there might be a forced game play (like timed sequences) that happens which forcefully extends mission objectives all the way past 15 minutes…that could be interesting…or not.
I would suggest for one map only to do this.
But for the sake of keeping wait times low , i like it the way it is. Let people speed run it. At least it gives variety and time based on skill levels.

Personally I would dread being forced to fight a FT that hides under the map and mudding up constantly…for 20 minutes. Since there are still exploits in the map this will not make the community happy.
