So I’ve been doing my own thing for awhile now and well I saw a few vids on DBD and how they’re doing a cross-over with RE. Now IDC about DBD like that because these vids reminded me of this game and I was thinking “what happened?” so sure enough i redownloaded and booted it up found a few games and I see a few new things but overall whats the haps with the game and generally whats its state?
Like is it still alive are we off life support and overall whats the plans for this game?
Now hamsters will tell you that game is good and that everything is just fine. But don’t beleive them. 90% of community that are still watching this game are not playing it. They only come back to 1 day from 1 week, jsut to check an update or to have fun in few games. Everybody who’s saying that “it’s not dead, it’s alive, game queues are fine etc.” are just blind idiots or like to eating buggy and glitchy shit
Game is dead, maybe almost dead. Illfonic didn’t even release anything on a game anniversary. Probably they will but what the point if anniversary has passed? Also they shit themselves with anniversary stream.
Still no new content, still no new maps, no new gamemods, still a lot of cheater, a lot of bugs and glitces and there is nothing bright in nearest future update. This game is trash right now and no hope for improvement…
Also, my respects for people who stopped protecting this shit company and their poor game

We all obviously had hopes for this game and IP at one point? 100% those hopes were shit on , from a great height . But its too easy to attack them with everything that is there for ammo?.
This isn’t never land and thinking happy thoughts won’t make an ounce of difference 😁 , its justified mostly, but we don’t want to give gamers a bad name , either way .

Better go to the Facebook group, it is moderated, so you will see more positive things about this game, as well as proper discussions.
This Forum here is just a sad, depressing place, full of salty clowns and other 2-digit-IQ people that will smear everything with shit and drain you of your mental and emotional energy, while preventing any constructive conversations.
Which doesn’t mean that I defend Illfonic for what they are doing.
But this place here is the worst part of the whole game.

Basically on life support. I’m finding I spend more time browsing this forum than playing the game. The two big issues right now are content and balancing/bugs. All the speculatuve bs aside (lawsuits, anniversaries, etc) there’s next to no valuable communication… despite that being a purpose for the forum.
Sure the devs will chime in, give a response to some backlash, help out with bugs, but still no objective info ever comes out like:
Will we get a roadmap?
When is the next update?
What content are you planning to release?
Where is the rest of the game?
And of course a bevy of great suggestions that are largely shot down.
For example since launch players have all but flat out demanded a multi-pred v fireteam mode. Someone here designed a game mode through private matches using Clash (their failed attempt at a new mode) as a base to make a 2v6 mode.
Illfonic actually played it on a stream, admitted it was fun, but ultimately said there’s no way they’re gonna do it because some people might have a hard time. Now keep in mind the majority of the vocal playerbase has said we want all the way up to 3v12. So to say a 2v6 or even 2v8 might not go over well just kinda shows that the devs are largely making the game they want, and not what the people who payed for it want. Leaving a gap in both trust and satisfaction from the customer/playerbase.
Is it still fun? Yeah. It’s as fun as it was upon release because… its the same thing with a few new bells and whistles, but those additions kinda unbalanced the game because most of goodies were given to fireteam while Predators just get new classes that make 0 difference in gameplay. Oh I forgot, they also got a new perk that only activates when you’re running away, because thats 90% of what you’ll be doing as predator lol they aren’t exactly balancing this game correctly.
So, needless to say, the next update… whenever it drops, will make or break this game at this point. So Illfonic if you guys are reading, believe me, we all want it to be good because we’re having more fun in the forums at the moment.
You should see how DBD Devs handle people requesting modes/multiple killers since year 1. Then they tell people to git gud on stream because the game’s balanced and only nerf things after everyone’s absuing mechanics. It’ll be fine.
But yeah this is pretty common especially with small studios. Happens & you either accept it or play the disgruntled consumer forever which goes pretty much nowhere for small games

My point exactly. F13 was fair in making what they want in order to put themselves out here but this is a good time to establish who they are as a studio.
Whatever they decide to work on next rides heavily on how this game is handled.
