Why would someone ever get into a legal battle with Disney? This isn’t Fox, Disney basically owns copyright law and extends it at will just to immortalize mickey mouse.

Nah i think the issue in general is that things get popular and SJWs like communists are built on toppling/subverting something that already exists because their ideas cant stand on its own & they dont think anyone would willingly watch it by itself.
IE no one would watch rise of skywalker if it wasnt star wars and making a new death star every movie isnt interesting whatsoever.

Perpetual revolution. Its why I think the next phase of the MCU is about to get really crappy. Now that its popular its time to destroy it.

Everything up to infinity war did a solid job with the occassional meh movie/bumpy start and Marvel did a good 180 saving themselves from bankruptcy.

Disney probably thinks they can make Alien and Predator relevant again the same way they made comics relevant to the average person. Otherwise idk what they see in Fox to even bother buying them out.
