He just drops down from the tree when pressing x sometimes instead of hopping unto another branch.
When hopping from branch to branch sometimes it doesnt work

I’ve experienced the same. The game still thinks I’m on a branch and I have to leap out.

Yep and if you double tap x while trying to get through more trees efficiently it will just drop you like you double tapped circle…
