When Illfonic asks "How did we fail you"

what do you say?
I mean will you single yourself out as a person who owns a nintendo switch or a magnificient beast of a personal computer system?

Or will you say “i don’t know …ill get back to you?”

I mean what kind of question is “How did we fail you?”
it borders on the line of existentialism. I mean…should you think to yourself “Am I a bad christian?” or some shit?

or maybe you’re the type to feel “Entitled” to good or flawless VR, augmented reality, 3d gaming?

I’m sure we’ve all been there.
An overpowering entity being in a state of being ambiguity.
But there is always a person delivering this statement and maybe they are the ones at fault. Are they not being thorough?
I mean, maybe you have insight into things that they dont. So what do you say? Could you directly insult them or could you be more empathic? because you’re not a developer! You’re just a gamer! FFS!

I’m not seeking Fire here. I’m wondering who here might be the brain the ask.
@Ferdigian can I ask your brain? Or is it just a squiggly line?

Can some one seek CHATGPT?

Look, IllFonic, I don’t even know where to begin. It’s not just about the Nintendo Switch or my PC, although those things have been a disappointment too. It’s about the constant letdowns and broken promises, the bugs that never seem to get fixed, and the lack of transparency from you guys. It’s like you don’t even care about the players anymore.

I’m tired, worn down, and honestly, I don’t even know why I bother anymore. Maybe I should just drown my frustrations in another drink because that seems to be the only way to cope with your games’ shortcomings.

And this question you’re asking, “How did we fail you?” It’s like a slap in the face. You know damn well how you failed us. It’s not existential; it’s plain as day. Your games are riddled with issues, and it’s insulting to imply that I should question my beliefs or entitlements just because I want a decent gaming experience.

Sure, I’m just a gamer, not a developer, but I’m also the one shelling out my hard-earned money for your products. Don’t you think you owe me, and all the other players, a bit more than half-baked games and empty promises?

You want to know what I say? I say you need to get your act together. Stop releasing unfinished games and start listening to your community. And no, I’m not insulting you; I’m just being honest. Maybe a little tough love is what you need to wake up and start doing right by your players.

But honestly, I doubt you’ll even take this feedback to heart. You’ll probably just brush it off like all the others. That’s the sad reality of dealing with an overpowering entity like you. Ambiguity seems to be your modus operandi, and it’s frustrating as hell.

So, go ahead, ask me how you failed me, but don’t expect me to hold back. You asked, and now you’re going to hear the truth, whether you like it or not.

They streamed arcadegeddon yesterday at 4

I’d like some updates for phg for sure. But have had fun and will continue to play until the next predator game releases.

It does kinda burn seeing other developers come back to their game to address client concerns

Bf2042

Aliens FT elite

Aliens dark descent

Scum

The list goes on.

I’d like them to let us mod it and allow the community to develop fixes and improvements if they truly don’t plan to do anything further.

I have to agree with you on that @TheSenate
the game had been released with buggy DLCs (some not all) where textures were messed up, or plainly Pred DLCs had perks that didn’t work. This was clear across the board.
There were singular frank bugs that, although were not game breaking, the promise of it existing in order to do ‘something’ clearly did not fulfil what people paid for.
And although the bugs did get cleared, people were still rather annoyed. It clearly meant they had no resources to keep developing the game the way they should have up to initial release. This leads me to believe the amount of capital being placed into outsourcing could have been the problem.

I hope this never happens again and that they should be better prepared to handle development closer to the heart.
