When playing Pred, when playing Fireteam

I don’t know if this is just my feeling or is any of you all feel the same way.

So, those are the following situations:

  • Queuing as Predator into lobby: I queue in and see the typical random generated teams sometimes with three Ps one Pc sometimes with two Pc and two Ps and sometimes full Pc- and Ps Squads. And sometimes not always those randomly thrown teams are like uber beasts.

On the other hand.

  • Queuing as Fireteam: Typical randomly selected team members. I see Assaults with deadly, Support with Comms and what join a support field medic. You think he would be the healer of the team. How wrong you can be. Me and the assault die in the beginning because those two supports run around killing AI. Pred gets me first for obvious reasons (Recon Sniper) and gets the Assault as he runs to revive me. Reinforcement is available and these two supports just carry on with the mission and call the chopper not even bothering the get me and the assault back. Pred gets one of support but the last one flees. When I get people like those I’m actually hoping for the Pred to wipe the floor with them.
Or you get like total Randoms that run around completely split up and get picked of one another because you can’t help them because your already at the mission point.
Sometimes I’m wondering if the understand the concept of a Fireteam?
And for some reason the Preds are also often monsters when I’m Fireteam.

Does anybody feel the same way at times? Let us discuss.

Randomly queueing fireteam is going to be a horrible luck of the draw. I’d say, on average, eight out of ten games are packed with potatoes. At least one, for sure. And they usually screw up the match in some way other another.

Factor in those matches where the Predator pounces on you ASAP and… well, it doesn’t go down the way you’d like. However, get a group of four who stick together and communicate and listen for the sound cues and use common sense to predict Predator movement/repositioning and those players who rush to kill the fireteam usually end up dying pretty badly.

The last handful of games I played when I had the game , I was always against console players even with crossplay turned on

Playing with headphones is a must with the game , I’m curious how many people actually use them when playing

I’m guessing like ten people. Lmao.

It makes such a drastic difference, I have never played without headphones

Since I’m on Pc I would never dare to turn crossplay off. Because I could kiss my ass goodbye in every match then.

I had it on because I played with a few good pc players . I wanted to go against them but it ended up it was always only console players that I was matched with

I have crossplay on. Fuck those soybean fagsticks that turn their settings down to spot the Predator more effectively. I can hear them pooping in a corner a mile away.

Headphones are a necessity anymore. I really wish they weren’t because I don’t like wearing them but this game is so dependent on sound you’re handicapped if you’re not using them

The only time I don’t use them is if I’m watching a movie. Otherwise, it’s just easier all around to use them. I don’t have to listen to someone nag me about the volume. In fact, I don’t have to listen to them at all. And if they try to slap me upside the head, I can claim temporary insanity when I grab them by the hair and toss them out the window.
