When Pred quits match what determines the faux Pred to appear?

So i know this will happen to you at one point but when your Pred leaves a match…what determines the fake one to appear?
Some times i might hear clicking at the edge of a map and when you follow the clicking it the fake one sometimes appears in the selfdestruct state, but thats not necessarily gauranteed.
Anyone have insight into this?

Usually if the pred leaves mid match theres nothing, we finish the mission and exfil, and that’s it, I wasn’t aware there was ai fill in.

But If I were to guess crashes cause no pred, and Just leaving prematurely might cause the ai fill in, thats my only guess.

The Predator always loads in. So if you start the match and he’s on “in game” he is, he’s sitting wherever he spawned in. If he crashes mid game he’s literally just NPC sitting there wherever he was. Actually had a match the pred had a mic and started to engage, crashed and told us "damn, I crashed, if you want the body it’s up by the sniper tower " and lo and behold there was a pred sitting pretty in a tree he just jumped to.

it’d be cool if the pred drops or quits then they initiate self destruct automatically

That would just end the match. I think I’d rather have the option to farm or complete the mission.

Well if they had AI for pred that could just replace the player if they leave. That’d be nice

I play this game after I get off work late at night and sometimes I fall asleep during the predator queue and get that message that I have been kicked for being idle for 2 min. I would just like to apologize to those FT teams out there, I been on the other side when that happens and it sucks.

I hope I dont get reported for that. I swear I don’t mean to.
