Pred wait times will always be high but yeah the surge will be bad. Idk how else games handle queues other than waiting rooms. They could throw random people in an arena and let them kill eachother and respawn in the meantime.

I mean, it’s just like whenever a brand new DPS Hero comes out for Overwatch. Queue Times go up when Content comes out. They just go together like…oil and water. :)

I’ve been taking a break since the 18th to play TLOU2 and finish Dead by Daylight’s Rift. Hopefully the queue times will have improved at least by the time DBD’s Rift closes (July 7th). I’m excited for a new Predator, but the potential wait times scare me. I remember when the Predator weekly challenge happened and my queue times went from 3-4 minutes to 7-8.

The Queue Times are going up no matter the case with new content tbh. It’s just the way these games go.

Everyone wants to be the monster already. With another Predator coming out will have people really wanting to play with the new toy.
The only way to address this is some form of mandatory fireteam play.
