I’m currently hoarding 2.725 million, and while I had intended to always keep a million and spend the rest, the chase for ever higher numbers has become a bit fun.
Also, it sucks that I’ve never gotten a Predator trophy and, while I do buy lockers here and there, it’s probably only about 100 per week, if that.
So, I’ll leave it to the community.

Never spend it.
Never enjoy new things.
The day before your trip when you’re most stressed out. Doing this will ease your worries because your brain will go numb for opening them all up one at a time.
Edit: if not that then never because why spend your VT when you can look down upon all those poor players with less than 1mill.

James Cameron thinks you should buy everything possible that way any boxes you open will either have the super rare stuff or at least enough refunded VT to keep you going.
Don’t die rich. Die in massive VT debt and leave a horrific corpse.
Buy everything now. Every single thing. That way you get all VT returns until you find trophies. Wish I had done that.
Only buy lockers until you get all the trophies.
Buy until your under a million then stop. Tell us if you got any new trophies then collect more VT
I would just keep saving till you reach at least 3 million then spend 2 million and open 2 million worth of crates. I’ve easily opened 2000+ loot crates and got one mythical trophy, few mythical shaders, and 1 mythical duplicate
Wait until we get improved Field Lockers. For now, if you want, spend your VT unlocking all of the visible items to ensure any duplicates are rewarded with more VT. Or, simply wait. Either way, don’t spend VT on the current Field Lockers, the system is a joke.
Just buy a few when you win a match
Do not buy things you can get in the field locker. Getting a dupe gets you back a fraction of the cost of the item. If you just get it in lockers, you’ll get more money to spend on lockers to get those trophies.
