When was the last update or mention of anything PHG’s related?
2.40 was on June 28. The last dlc was in April.
Both are dismally small & low effort that to call them updates would be a disservice to the word.

Thank you, ugh I just want them to say “hey we are gonna stop making updates to the game, we are no longer working on the game”. I’m too hopeful for my own good, ugh so depressing

If you trend the update content Illfonic is extremely likely trying to kill the game slowly & quietly.
Went from updates every month with dlc, content, & occasional map ->
Updates every other month with dlc and a few shaders & few bug fixes ->
Now where it’s looking like bug fixes every other month and a dlc every other update.
The next progression will likely be bug fixes every other month, and then no updates at all.
I would like illfonic to address this as well, but given that they are an extremely shady dev company and have shit community management/communication at best, it is extremely unlikely.

If you remember the, what, five days @OldKingHamlet was here to pull damage control after Kass’s release, he said there is is a lot of things being discussed, worked on, and on the pipeline, but obviously he can’t talk about any of it. I guess you can take all of that as you will lol.
On July 19th I replied to a guy rambling on about predator stuff in the last Arcadegeddon patch, and said to not bother as IllFonic is content with leaving us passionate fans in the dust.
The next predator gibberish post he made after I replied, IllFonic replied to the guy with just a “👀” emoji.
Whether that means anything I SINCERELY doubt it as we’ve seen this before and what the guy posted was straight up nonsense, it was like a bunch of captions of “ENGINEER LORD VS ENGINEER PREDATOR,
MECH ENGINEER VS MECH PREDATOR ON ENGINEER PRIME, ENGINEER KING VS PREDATOR ENGINEER ON YAUTJA PRIME” followed by pictures of poor fan concept art and robots ripped out of titan fall and iron man.
Yeah…no fuckin clue.

I just understand why they wanna drag us along when they practically already did so. Dude it’s not even fun anymore to make videos, it’s a struggle now.

We’ve been hearing that for 2 years. Going through the updates & patches I noticed a significant trend in the decline of both quantity and quality in updates & what is in them. And this is illfonic so that’s saying something.

I feel like that’s just something they are giving us worried folks to keep us quite or from saying anything they don’t like. Plus what’s there to discuss, we figured out what’s wrong, what needs to be done?
Idk damage control is long overdue as well as hyping up the game along with the PREY movie, a lot of missed opportunities that other gaming companies would jump on and fight over.

Well it’s quite simple. They learned early on that people will pay for anything, so they are content with having someone spend 5 minutes making a bugged dlc because they know people are going to buy it regardless. And if they announce they are ending the game, a lot of people would leave & some would demand refunds. So the most likely answer is they’re trying to pull an EA while slowly strangling the game.

Oh I know. It’s the constant thing. I guess my point is that there HAS been releases and content over this whole time, so obviously there IS more yet to come. Whether or not it’s content we want and will improve the game…that’s the question with a nearly obvious answer.

That’s a major reason as to why I think they’re trying to end the game slow and quiet. Any dev team that has plans to continue expanding the game would be hyping the shit out of a movie in the franchise, working on dlcs & maps, and throwing in Easter eggs for the movie in game.

They may still bring us Feral. Just because they haven’t formally announced it doesn’t mean it’s not something they’re working on. For some reason, be it actual legalities or not, they are very hush hush about future content. But something tells me we’ll see him eventually.

Probably so, but I would expect it to be a Wolf scenario where it is entirely inaccurate, bugged as all hell, and quickly made.

God I bet Feral won’t be a polished DLC filled with bugs and crashes, I wanna be hopeful truly I do. However even when PREY was being announced and hyped over, not once was IllFonic there to comment, retweet, or like anything PREY related except Feral Builds.
It’s disheartening for it really is all the Fans support that’s keeping the Predator franchise floating. IllFonic will probably be glad to see it sink as it’s considered dead weight by their own doing. Idk it’s just sad seeing so many other companies respect and take care of their franchise while we are left to Scavage for a ounce of a form of content wether it be from companies with the franchises name or fan made anything

I’m curious about the actual legalities about teasing releases like that. Like, for example, just today Cavity Colors announced part two of their Shin Godzilla apparel collection in November, and teased their next release with a single hashtag: #destoroyah. They didn’t outright say it, but they were able to give a hint that fans would know. Why can’t Illfonic do something similar, like a 😉 when asked if there’s a Feral DLC coming. I don’t get it. But yeah, I bet you it will be exactly like Wolf. And since Feral has all these new parts and shit, it’s easy for something to go wrong in the modeling.

It’s the only thing IllFonic is known for at this point, amazing ideas with poor ass execution……reminds me of another Predator themed idea that happened in 2018🤔

•Not Feral’s actual Face (probably a copy and past of the other classes like the Default, Super Predator, or Classic.
•The Cloak won’t have the red color but stay blue.
•Roar will be as it always has been which is the default roar.
With a disappointing sides of Crashes, Bugs, hell possibly unplayable matches.
At this point? Not sure if you’ve noticed but they’ve been incompetent and useless since the beginning, people just overlooked it because Dutch and CH came out. Nowadays they’re very blatant about their lack of care instead of hiding behind the excuse of more to come.
